Remarks

Eligibility of the course is 10th and 12th pass. AMU conducts it's own examination for BTECH.First there will be a exam for taking admission in BTECH. Then based on merit students are alotted branches. Application form are released around the month of January and Febrary.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BTech in ELectronics Engineering because of my interest in circuit designing. Due to the boom inn the VLSI sector. the faculty : stuudent ratio is 1:20. Faculty is quite experienced and majority of them have the PHD in their dedicated fields. Exams are conducted timely and the level is from moderate to tough.

Internships Opportunities

There are various internships opportunintes within the college. Companies came offering different roles of Management trainee, Software Intern , etc and these will be considerred for PPO later on. College provides research internships like MITACS, DAAD, etc.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Siemens, L&T, Schenieder, Juniper Networks and various other reputed companies. Highest package offered by Scheinieder is 14 Lakhs per annum. Ag package is 4 to 5 Lakhs per annum. 70 to 80 % students getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is the most affordable BTECH course available in whole INDIA. The total cost sums around to Approx 35000/- for 4 years all together. Many individual scholarships and financial assistance is also available from alumni and other sources.

Campus Life

ZARF is the annual fest in our college ZHCET, AMU and it is conducted annually in the month of April and May. Seceral books ralted to subject and novels are freely available in our college library and also the Maulana Azad Library of AMU. Smart classroom is there. Various clubs are also present for students.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good the highest placement was in 2022 that is 49 LPA and this year also 20 LPA of 3 students and 15 lpa of 4 students and many of 5 to 10 lpa . If a student does not get package or job it is his or her fault. Amy be he or she has not prepared or have any skill to get placed if you have potential you can get placed. Every student in college get placed at minimum 3 lpa. The placement rate is 90 %.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.

AMU was amazing!!
