Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as my interest is in core electronics specially vlsi industry. In my department there are 20 faculty members and 60 students. Their method of teaching are good. They are always available to clear our doubts and helps us in our problems. All the professors are rather have phd or mtech. Exams are conducted every 2 months and they are pretty moderate to pass.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 5810 per year

Placement Experience

Students who are in 4th year are eligible for placement. Companies like SIEMENS, L&T, XENON, JuniperNetwork and most of the other good companies have already came for the placement. The average package is og about 5 lakhs per year. Not most of the students are being placed in my branch but for the other branch its been good. My plan is to persue for the Mtech.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of admission we have to pay a sum total of 20k and for the later years we have to pay around 8k. The fees hike depends on the requirements of the department. There are various internal scholarship programme available only for AMU students.

Campus Life

ZARF fest is conducted every year in the month of september. Every types of books and journals are available in the library. Most of the classrooms are equiped with AC, projectors and many other items. Clubs like EDIC, RoboClub, IEEE are available for improving skills of the students.

Hostel Facilities

All the rooms in the hostel are 4 seater and are in very good condition. There is free electricity and water supply. Availabity of Reading and common rooms with various indoor games facility are also here.

Hostel Fee: INR 2000 per year

Admission

Btech course is offered by passing 12th class or diploma. Top 3 students of diploma gets dirct admission in Btech course. While class 12th passout students are offered this course by appearing in entrance examination of AMU. I have heared about the application form for AMU from my friends. There is a reservation criteria for minority groups for that they could get admission for lower ranks too. From my opinion admissin process seems fine and no improvement is required

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year you are eligible for placement sheat in college. The highest package was 1.5 cr approx and average 7-8 lakh. Percentage of students to get placement should be around 1/4 of overall students means . I will apply for both on campus and off campus placement.

Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

Placement Experience:

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Placement is good the highest placement was in 2022 that is 49 LPA and this year also 20 LPA of 3 students and 15 lpa of 4 students and many of 5 to 10 lpa . If a student does not get package or job it is his or her fault. Amy be he or she has not prepared or have any skill to get placed if you have potential you can get placed. Every student in college get placed at minimum 3 lpa. The placement rate is 90 %.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.

AMU was amazing!!
