What Students Say

Likes

Students of Amity are good especially seniors behavior is too friendly
Hostel infrastructure is good and because of flats students also get privacy
There is no such burden of exams, only we have to give 2 exams and one practical

Dislikes

Sometimes Mess food is not good, so we have to eat somewhere else like restaurants
Campus placement is not good, only few people can take 10 lakh packages
Faculties are not good enough, they are like compleating the formalities

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to do something in CSE, and I have interest in computer programming, and in cse there are some scopes for job also For around 60 students there is 1 faculty for each subject Faculty are well qualified but their teaching way is not better, till now only 1 faculty i found interested in teaching There are 2 exams in each semester, 1st is mid term of 15 marks and 2nd is final exam of 50 marks and its depends on students to pass

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

In the end of 3rd or beginning of 4th year placement starts There are many company visits but placement rate is very low of this college For on campus placement I talked to senior and I come to know that till now highest pakage is 10 lakh offered

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is normal like a normal private college around 1.15 lakh per semester For scholarships for 1st and 2nd sem students can get it through 12th boards mark and in college if you come in top 10 in exams then you will get 100% scholarship

Campus Life

Our college conducts fest named odessy and it is quiet good and there are many events like dance, singing, drama etc were conducted and students get certificate also, but in some events for participation we have to pay around 100 or 150 In the college there is library with all course book but there is no fiction books Classrooms are good For sports there are nearly all types of game available, students can participate also For club there are e-cell, fashion club etc

Hostel Facilities

Hostel have flat and each flat have 3 rooms and each room have 2 bed, bathrooms are available in each flat There are ac room also available with 1.15 lacks cost for single bed and for normal room cost is 65000 rs for single bed for one year There is only one mess in campus where all students of different hostels come and eat Food is not good enough in taste

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

Direct admission, Just have to fill up the form No entrance exam required No need of cut off of entrance exams I don't think that there is any reservation criteria, they just allow student to take admissions For improvement, I don't think so

SUMMARY ABOUT IIIT KOTA

Placement Experience:

the placement scenario of my college is imrpoving every year but it was still not as good as it was when we were at MNIT jaipur campus given the placement of last year but this year it seems to have imrpoved by a lot since there are much more companies visiting our campus this year the few companies visited are NVIDIA, VISA, E-SARAL, AMAZON, MEESHO, MYNTRA etc nvidia offered a 65lpa package and esaral offered 3 35LPA package the packages of other companies are not revealed yet. the highest package this year is 1CR+ but it's an off campus placement the highest on campus placement is 65 lpa by NVIDIA there are around 80% students getting placed every year inclduing on campus and off campus both few goes for higher studies such as M.TECH or MBA but there's stilla good amount of people getting placed every year out of which 40-50% are onn campus. my plans are to get a placement after college then if i get the opportunity and right consition then i might pursue M.TECH and PHD in foreign country

The students are allowed to sit in placement from from 6th-7th semester.The average package is around 350000 to 500000 lacks per Annum.. officially there were 250 companies visited This year most of them being startups ,, The most famous is maybe Google. The placement percentage is on lower side My plans are to crack a companies placement with decent amount of package

Placement Experience:

There are many companies that visited our university like amazon, deloitte, google,Microsoft, TCS, hcl tech etc. The highest placement of these year was 33 lpa and average was 7-8 lpa. These year our university got 1200+ offers and still counting. The companies mostly select based on skills and not cgoa, so if you have enough skills then you can easily clearly interviews and get placement.

campus placements at muj are decent but largely depend on individual performance and skill set . there are many companies visited like amazon tcs and microsoft and others they made many offers to students highest package is 25 lpa and average is 6 lpa and minimum is 3 to 4 lpa.roughly 70 to 80 % students get placed. my plains after getting degree is to get a job of highest package.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good since the highest package is around 50 lakhs per year and the lowest package is 5 lakhs per year something. Placements take place from 3rd or 4th year in college itself and the placement in computer science branch is almost 65-70%. The highest package which was offered last year was 20 lakh per year and 47 lakh per year in 2023. The top recruiters are IBM, Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, Flipkart and the college doesn’t provide internship opportunities on campus, students have to apply by themselves.

Placement Experience:

In third year student gets eligible for on campus internships offered by big companies like google and nvidia. from fourth year students gets to sit in placement offered by companies called to colllege if that student pass the eligibility criteria mostly based in CG in semesters. In 2024 highest package from our college was 53 LPA from computer science and engineering. the average package of our college was about 20 LPA for CSE department and can vary based on skills and branch. last year about 92% of Btech students gets on campus placements. In reality i haven't decided what i have to do after getting my degree. I wouls probably do job or opt for Mtech or MBA or maybe least probable i would like to prepare for UPSC.
