Campus Life

4

my overall experience with campus life at JECRC University has been positive in engaging the social environmental active with students from diverse background which make interaction and networking easy the campus regularly whose cultural fest technical events seminars and competitions creating good opportunities to socialize beyond academics club involvement is one of the strongest campus life there are various technical gloves cultural societies sports team and entrepreneurship cells participating in these club help student develop leadership team work and communication skill how were the level of exposure you get depends larly on how you actively participate in terms of infrastructure University provide well maintain classroom computer labs libraries hostel sport facilities and auditoriums Wi-Fi connectivity and lab equipment are adequate do not exceptional the campus is clean organised and safe specially for residential student overall campus live at JCRC University supports both academic growth and personal development but student who take initiative benefit the most from the opportunities available

Admission

I choose JECRC University after comparing it with several other private engineering colleges I applied to JECRC offered a better balance of academics placements infrastructure and affordability its industry or entered curriculum specially for CSE was more updated then many local colleges and the placement support and recruiter base were relatively stronger the campus facilities lapse and overall learning environment was also better maintain compared to the other options I considered I did apply to high ranker college including government institute but high competition and cut off JEE main were the reason I couldn't secure admission there. the admission process at JCRC University was smooth and transparent admission was offered based on JEE main score or class 12 merit followed by counselling document verification and be payment scholarship were available based on academic performance which were the supported by decision over all gcrc provided the best realistic option among the colleges I applied to

Faculty

faculty insights gcrc University has a mix of experienced and young faculty members specially in engineering and CSE department manufacturnalty hold crossed graduate degrees and PhD and several have industry or research exposure faculty are generally approachable and supportive particularly for projects and internal assessments teaching quality varies by department and individual professor summer highly engagement while other are more traditional day are focused on theory course structure the university follows a semester based system two semester per year curriculum is designed under a choice based credit system and follows an outcome based education model in semester include core subjects electives practical labs mini projects and final year major project course balance theory lapse internship of skill and industry oriented subject specially in CSE aiml cloud etc examination system JCRC follows are continuous evaluation model internal assessment 50% includes midterm test quizzes assignments presentation and lab work and semester exam 50% return theory exam conducted at the end of each semester student must maintain minimum attendance usually 75% to be eligible for exam marking and grading scheme evaluation is based on a CGPA system each subject carries credits and greats are awarded based on performance sgpa is calculated every semester and CGPA is cumulative average back exam an improvement exam are available for fade or low scoring subjects

Night Life

3

nightlife around Jecrc University is per limited specially compared to metro cities since the campuses on the outskirts of Jaipur more student life happens inside the campus during the day and evening rather than a late night outside on campus evening I usually spend in hostel common areas sports ground with friends student hangout nearby food stalls cafe or small dhabas but these typically closed by 10:11 p.m. hostel student also confused so late night outings are restricted for more active nightlife student go to Central Jaipur cafe malls movie theatre and launches but that require planning transport and permission specially for hostels such outing arocational rather than routine overall nightlife is controlled suitable for student focus on academics but it may beam restricted for those who look for vibrant late night social scene

In third year student gets eligible for on campus internships offered by big companies like google and nvidia. from fourth year students gets to sit in placement offered by companies called to colllege if that student pass the eligibility criteria mostly based in CG in semesters. In 2024 highest package from our college was 53 LPA from computer science and engineering. the average package of our college was about 20 LPA for CSE department and can vary based on skills and branch. last year about 92% of Btech students gets on campus placements. In reality i haven't decided what i have to do after getting my degree. I wouls probably do job or opt for Mtech or MBA or maybe least probable i would like to prepare for UPSC.
