JECRC University In Depth Review

The Btech Curriculum was selected by UGC . We do have some other couces as well but that kind of waste of money only. The core faculty was good but the extra cources faculty was not so good. Overall the Curriculum was good.

Ok So the college fess structure was like this: College Fees :- Rs.3,90,000 / Yearly ( Per Sem It was Rs.1,95,000 ) Ac Hostel Fees :- Rs.1,30,000 / Yearly ( Including Mess and the hostel was amazing. we used to get our private room) Admission Fee :- Rs.10500 ( One time ) The Lab Fees and all the other fees was already added into our college fee structure. I opt a extra cource worth Rs.20,000 / Yearly which was cybersecurity which was again included into my college fee. All the other members of my section were having same kind of extra cources but my other friends who have only accepted the CSE core were having a fee structure of Rs.3,70,000 / Yearly. I didnt got any scholarship during my cource as I have scored less than 80% in 12th and i belong from General Catagory. Apart from this every event has some chages that has to be paid by the student if he want to attend that event, but the amount generally stays between Rs.500 to Rs.5000. The Fees has incresed to much as compare to mine. I heard the amount in now somewhere between 5 lakhs / yearly which i find not worth to the quality of education they provide. The faculties are good but the number of students are too high. The last i heard was 6k students in just Btech. They Started more on earning more rather than educating more.

The club life was good . I used to enjoy that. we used to have losts of club and various other activities also. The seniors also used to promote us to join and participate in various clubs. The infrastrure of jecrc is mind blowing . like in every term just go and visit there and you will find extraodinary things and beautiful infra.

Hostel meal was good till 2nd year but from the third year it stared to decrease . 3 times a day and a proper meal throughtout the day. Then Meal was cooked into the campus so overall good quality . Now the tender is proveded to a private company so cant say anything but overall i guess they are maintaning good quality food.

The other college in my list were and chossing not them are:- 1) Manipal University :- Too expensive and out of the budget also. They college was too far from the Jaipur main city. 2) Arya College :- Was budget friendly but they were not having extracurricular activities and had a very boring life, also the college campus as too far from city and had to travel a lot for any issue. Reason of choosing JECRC were :- Budget Friendly Connected to jaipur. Good location More Clubs and other activities apart from study. Better lab Word of mouth was good.

The faculty was good till 2nd year as the number of students started to rise the quality of techers also stared to decerease. In a sem we used to have 2 IN-SEM and 1 Final-SEM. In-sem were of 40 marks and final-sem were of 80 and 20 for lab . Sometimes the marks distribution also depends on the subjects also. The In-sem used to carry a low weightage in you sem result as i have seen students failling in in-sem but used to get good marks in final-sem use to pass in sem. If u fail in that sem them you will back into that subject only which you failed, onces you clear it you will get the marksheet of that sem.

We actally dont have nightlife in there just a casual walk and dinner into the mess but the public area is good . you will find cafe around the campus also so overall good . Gym is ok ok considering a college gym. Timings of Hostel were - 5 Am to 10 Pm College timings :- 7:30 Am to 4 Pm The College area and locality is totaly safe for girls too. Security is also tight .
