Course Curriculum Overview

4

the specific aspects that influenced me was that the course focus on parts that align with my reaserch intreset and the college provide good internship and placements offers. the course allow me to explore new things while maintaining my core coursework. the theoritical foundation provided by the course is strong and its real world applications are emphasized well enough. the course would benefit by industry professionals or a project component that involve collaborating with a company. we could use group discussions, case studies, hands on experience to enchance course structure. consedering alternative assessments methods, such as projects, presenations would be beneficial.the frequency of exam is well planned and the time given with respect to toughness of paper set assuming you are studying and giving proper attention in lectures are appropiate.

Internships Opportunities

5

since i am in first year i don't have much knowledge aabout that topic but as much as I have heard from seniors and met them our college gives fantastic opportunities for internship. many big comapanies like google, nividia and samsung come to our college to hire intern. they also offer foreign internships. many of our seniors have done internships in japan also. we also have dedicated commetie and place for startups as our college promote it.

Placement Experience

5

In third year student gets eligible for on campus internships offered by big companies like google and nvidia. from fourth year students gets to sit in placement offered by companies called to colllege if that student pass the eligibility criteria mostly based in CG in semesters. In 2024 highest package from our college was 53 LPA from computer science and engineering. the average package of our college was about 20 LPA for CSE department and can vary based on skills and branch. last year about 92% of Btech students gets on campus placements. In reality i haven't decided what i have to do after getting my degree. I wouls probably do job or opt for Mtech or MBA or maybe least probable i would like to prepare for UPSC.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees on average of a general student doing btech is about 300000 per year including tution fees, hostel, mess charges. The resgistration fees of 1000 has to be paid once. For SC/ST and pepole whose household income is less than 500000 per year are given exemption from tution fees of 100000 per sem. Other than that there are scolarships for girls seperately. They also provide education loan on less intrest just in case someone is in need.

Campus Life

5

we have too many festivals in our college some of them are: Varchas-sports festival held in spring session Aftab-fest related to books, authors, readers and writers also held in spring session Sandstone- industrial personals come to guide students for their future Prometeo- tech fest and one the flagship fest of our college held in jan Ignus- It is cultural fest held in feb Spandhan- inter hostel cultural comepetion Kreedansh- inter hostel sports comepetion apart from them there are many more fest of particular departments also. our library has wide variety of books and almost every book related to our courses are present there and also many more extra books on philosophy and other genre are also there. our classrooms are well equipped with tech including wifi in each class along with screens for projections, boards, white boards and comfortable seats. sports infrastrucuture is also good. we have dedicated courts for hockey, tennis, cricket, badminton, squash, table tennis, football. we have much clubs in our college realetd to all feilds. we have clubs for tech, arts, dance, music, astronomy, authors, robotics.

Hostel Facilities

5

our room has bed, chair, table, almirah, table fan attached to wall and ac. meal quality of our mess is good enough. I have done coaching in kota and i can say that it is better than the mess from which i used to eat. registration for hostel is donw at the time of college admission only you have to pay rent of hostel and mess and do sone formalities to get a hostel room.

Admission

I have got admission to BITS Pilani also in Civil engeneering but I prefer IIT because it has more things to explore than a private college. For example IITs conduct Inter IIT competition which is great for us as it allow uss to compete at national level in all things like tech, culture and sports but these national comeptions aren't there in BITS. Also in our country getting into a IIT is considered better than in a private institue no matter how much prosperous it is. Also one of the reason is fees, the fees of BITS is high and increase every year. The admisiion in our college is through a entrance paper known as JEE Advance before thst you have to qualify JEE main and secure a good rank to be able to get into our college which is not easy. After that you need to go under counselling and if you get selected for the college then the internal college admission process start which includes verificaitions of documnets and other things.

Faculty

The faulty of our college is far better than I was expecting. But as it always has there are pros and cons of everything. Although most of the faculty members are good but since all of them are reserchers of their own respective feild some of them are able to convey things well but some are unable to connect to students. one of the proff i like is my computer science sir, he is very connectable. We have change in course structure from year 2024 before that there used to be 2 minor exams and one final exam. from now we have 1 monir exam and 1 major exam. Apart from exams we have quizes, labs and also has marks for attendence and continuos evaluation, attentiveness in class. The thing about course structure in 1st year is somewhat irrelevant according to my opinion as we have to study bio and other things that I as a civil student doesn't have to deal with but then also i have to study it. Other than that the course structure is well planned with extra things also like social connect which is good. Also our college provide bilingual course which make it easier for stuedent who aren't comfortable in english to enjoy course.

Night Life

3

there are gyms in every hostel, we have cafeteria and also diffrent outlets, we have library which is opened all the time and has good infra. cafeteria remain open till 2:00 AM. there are no restrictions in hostel its just we have to do entry in registar if we came too late at night. College has restrictions on timings. In morning we can go out after 6:00AM and at night college closes at 11:00PM. other than that there are not any restrictions in roaming in campus area and as it is big enough you really do not have to go out for simple walk or roaming. famous hangout spots are knowledge tree that is like a roundabout, shamiyana that has outlets. college campus is very safe for everyone to roam at any point of time as there are good security masures and guards at every point.

Other Applied Colleges

BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Civil Engineering)

Because I thought that opting same course in IIT is better than in private college

Course Curriculum Overview:

. The timing of each exams will be 2 and half hours . you have to appear to the exam hall before 2 hrs and you have to submit all your belonging to the invigilator like phone etc., . Improvement area of the course is the notes they provide, the exam questions they ask some time is out of what they teach they expect us to know more than they teach. . I over all fell good about the B.TECH in pursued and I would also do my MBA from BITS . I choose this course because it will not affect my work and i complete my BTECH with work and all people and organizations will recognize the course we done with BITS
