Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I was into cooking and wanted to become a chef, that's why i applied here. The number of faculty could be a little higher i feel, but they all are amazing and super supportive. Some are even PhDs. Classes would b both theoretical and practical. We have exams at a gap of around 2 months, including the mid sems

Internships Opportunities

5

Students can get internship from anywhere they want either themselves or via college. Literally any place! I did my internship from the oberois. All companies like taj, itc, conrad, hyatt, jw marriot took trainees from our college.

Placement Experience

4

The campus recruitments start from 5th sem. The placements are really good in this college. Every company visits this college, oberois, taj, conrad, kfc, dominos, arvind fashions, samsung, you name it. The highest package is of 8 lakh pa. Avg package 4l pa. I guess around 85-90% students definitely get placed. I am planning on taking on a job after graduation

Fees and Financial Aid

I feel the fee structure is higher as per the facilities we are provided. There's no transportation facility. Maintenance is okayish. No new things provided. We have to wash our own utensils in college after cooking. I've got a job in McDonald's as an assistant restaurant manager. The package is of 3.6l per annum

Campus Life

3

There are different activities, functions etc that are held in college but are taken care by the same students, there are scenarios where we aren't even informed if something is about to come up until it eventually does. The classrooms varry from very smal to very big. All kinds of books related to this course are available in the library. Yes, there are extra curricular activities as well organised by different clubs. There is also an Instagram handle of the college if you want to check it out.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are only provided to the first yr students. There's a ping pong table in terrible condition and a treadmill and cycle also in terrible condition... The food is okayish though. There are 3 and 4 sharing rooms only in the girls hostel. The registration process is quite easy for hostels which is done at the rime of counselling itself. And in a place like bangalore, 80k is a decent amount for hostel.

Admission

The name.of the entrance exam is NCHMCT JEE, which has a course similar toh banking exams but on a much easier level. The process was as usual, you'll get a rank, there'd be counselling and you'd get the colleges as per your rank. An improvement i would like to see is in the reservation category cut offs .
