A review of ihm bangalore

I choose this course due to personal passion for food, there is only 1 frontoffice, housekeeping, food production & f&b teacher for almost 250 students each year you have a different core subject teacher, I would say most teacher's were just average but a few teacher's namely pramod sir, anjali ma'am, naveen sir were really good teacher's, the exams were always timely and they were easy if u read the given notes but some subjects which literally don't have any notes available I'd suggest u read last year's solved question paper's most helpful

The students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester, the companies with the highest offers would be sodexo, abfrl,samsung But abfrl only gives 4 lakhs in hand and the other 1.5 lakhs in their total 5.5 lakhs offered would be a variable known as incentive and samsung only visits the campus once every 3 years and offers the highest which is probably 7.2 lakhs the average package is 3,00,000 but a lot of big names such as Starbucks, Tim Hortons, puma do visit the campus with just a bit above average packages about 4 or max 4.5 lakhs, the profiles offered are either mt, et or associate 99 or maybe 100% students do get placed as a huge no of companies do visit, my plan would be to get a 3 year work experience and go abroad for a masters degree

I'd say for my year personally there was a fee hike and excluding the fee there are 4 types of uniforms along with their own kits which also cost quiet a lot and u will have to buy records for every subject and the culinary part requires u to print colour print out of the dishes u made, I only know of 1 scholarship which would probably be useful for sc students of karnataka which would be available in the ssp portal recommended to apply early, the jobs available in the placements offer an average package of 3 lakhs but if u are set to work in the hotel industry u get offered MT positions in various popular 5 star hotels which is a good opportunity but excluding hotels we do have a huge variety of companies visiting our campus which is the one huge pro of the ihm bangalore campus the stipend would be minimum of 25,000 per month

Due to my first year being online we didn't have many activities planned then but our second and third year's were quiet fun due to the clubs being more active but they weren't anything more than average u only get stalls for major festivals but maybe if u joined any of the clubs it would be more fun I wouldn't know since I haven't joined any clubs but for any students wishing to join any clubs the recommended ones will be faces and gharuanda

The course eligibility will be anyone who has completed their 12th , the application's of any sort will be available in the nchmct portal, I would have liked to have been given a small summary of the course and it's potential by a professional of this carrier path
