Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum and faculty are decent, Chose this course as it is a blooming field, faculty student ratio is average....average of 50 students per class, Teachers are all PHD and above and teaching method is decent, exams are from time to time and If studied properly it is not at all difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, 100s of big companies like amazon and microsoft come for placement and the placement percentage is around 90%, highest package in 2022 was 59lpa, my plans after getting a degree is to go for college placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is high if you are below category 1 or 2 but in category 1 its average, no scholarship opportunity generally available, don't know much about all the financial assistance provided. ?? ?? ?? ?? ??

Campus Life

College life is pretty average with less fests conducted, Advitya is the annual fest, social life is pretty average too, a lot of infrastructure is under construction, books and journals are available in the library, classroom amenities are not that great with no white screen for projector, sports and extra curricular activities are vey average, a lot of clubs like photography club and celebratory club are run by students.

Hostel Facilities

In hostel room only bed, chair, table and a cupboard are provided. Meal quality is decent and menu changes in a month or two, registration of hostel is done online on a vit portal after induction program.

Hostel Fee: INR 143000 per year

Admission

Admission is done on the basis of VITEE entrance exam, For btech science stream with PCM required in 12th grade, every info available on VIT website, no reservations available, no improvement as such needed

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
