Remarks

The overall experience is very good.The environment for study also good.It is very nice. The teachers staffs and all other are ready to help.

KEAM.I just put govt engineering college names and after 1st allotment I got admission in this college.Yes a interview is conducted. I am interested in electrical so I decided to choose electrical and electronics engineering

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very good. Since we studied a lot of papers in electrical electronics and computer etc. It a core course so it is very good. Well in a week about 6 hours practical session is given for two labs. Electives such as new and renewable energy , biomedical engineering etc are there .

Internships Opportunities

No college doesn't provide any intern ship . But still conducting many workshops under IEEE and many organization.They conduct classes like soldering workshops , biomedical equipment design etc.

Placement Experience

Many students got placement the placement rate is good. Companies like tech mahindra are come.A lot of students got placement too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very less since it is a government,college. So we don't have much expenses . Per year 8225 .Each semester exam registration 1700 .

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes many scholarship are available. U got Egranz scholarship.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I am residing in hostel. Rooms are sharing. 2 students are in one room. Food is very good.

Exam Structure

It is a difficult task. Since our university ktu is strictly follow the schedule. Due to this schedule the academics is very tight. Since the duration of each semester is about 4 month so it is very difficult to manage classes labs and exams.

Faculty

All the facilities are highly qualified and each of them at least have M.tech degree.Many of them have decades of experience in the field of teaching. All are able to took forward the classes very well and understandable manner. They are very interactive . The standard of teaching is very good.

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
