Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chosen this course only because of my interest in accounting and commercial studies. Otherwise, I think commerce is the only way who never fails to earn money from anywhere and I will also saying that I'm not only choose this course to earn money. From my point of view this is a really tough course more than any computer application courses or business administrations. And the student ratio of b.com hons. is less day by day not everyone maintain the same when it comes semester 3 to 4 to 5 the students are decreasing from that.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is really worthfull for middle class families because they cover up whole course in just 10,000/- and that is really affordable in today's generation where study is very high price. And for just that money we gather more knowledge, experience and such more. I'm also eligible for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship who gives 12,000/- per year and the eligibility of scholarship is you have to maintain 60% above numbers. I'm now pursuing the degree but I see many peoples got financial jobs from campaign which our college organised and I think this is the best part of b.com degree.

Campus Life

5

Our college union is also great. They organize a sports event on every winter also they organize a football tournament after that season. Every annual fest of our college have gone through 1 week of preperation we all are participate in that a little bit and our college also organised a freshers party for newly admitted students every year. One of the best part of Maharaja Manindra Chandra College is they organize a picnic for every college students and ex-college students and they take their for just a minimum price but fun we have their that is not payable.

Admission

The addmission process is very simple. After the 12th marksheet out we have to wait for the opening of addmission in Calcutta University and after they open their portal of addmission we submit out documents, obtained number and if we eligible for college eligibility criteria we were selected directly in the phase 1 of college addmission list. Different colleges vary different eligibilty criteria, if we don't selected in the phase 1 list we have to wait for phase 2 and 3, commonly colleges realeses 4 to 5 phases of addmission list. I personally selected in phase 2 of addmission list in the college and I think college have to realeses more lists or they should take more candidates on every phases.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum is Comprehensive, focused equally on Academics and Practical Exposure.. I chose because of that extra year of research I can choose to do in my final year (4th year) of graduation and I'll have an Hons. Degree at the end of 4th year of my college... Practical insights makes sure we are being trained to tackle practical world and academic knowledge ensures we are eligible to apply for further Education.. I will say more focus on Practical Exposure and a little extra focus on Sports May Take This Curriculum to a different level..
