Course Curriculum Overview
I have a good command on chemistry as a subject that's why I chose it as major subject. Faculty: Student=1:10 in GNDU. Every professor there is PhD cleared CSIR NET and proficient in teaching. Chemistry department in GNDU is considered as one of the best departments because of its dedicated teachers and their appreciable research work. Here, exams held on time as per the schedule with proper strictness and level of exams was moderate to difficult level.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since GNDU is semi-government University so, Course Fees for basic subjects is quite affordable and accessible. Fees hike is not much. I got no financial assistance or scholarship during my study. Campus selections occur every year in GNDU but unfortunately I didn't get that opportunity.
Campus Life
Life at GNDU campus is amazing. Different departmental fests, festival celebrations and cultural activities organized time to time. "JASHAN" is the grand level cultural Intra-University fest held every year in the month of March. Other tech fests held as per department in every 2 to 3 months. All the books and journal available in University library also, subjective books are available in departmental libraries as well. Projectors are available in every classroom along with the white board. Sports club is also there and courts for various sports are there. Various clubs like Dance club, sports club, music club, art club etc. are run by students volunteerirly.
Admission
My admission in GNDU is on merit basis. No entrance exam at that time. I applied through its website. In 2016 when i first got adm. in BSc course in chemistry field, course fees was around 30,000 per year excluding hostel and mess expenses. My study in GNDU was quite affordable and accessible. According to me, no improvement is needed.
