Remarks

College is interesting and I feel no regret coming in here to spend my four golden years. A place which is worth all the pain and gain. In the beautiful valley this college has been amazing.

Entrance Preview

Exam was JEE Mains to get admission here. There is board percentage criteria too. I came through JEE and thus there was no interview process as such. There are direct admissions too. I was interested in softwares so I chose B.Tech CSE. This is also a trending field. Many job opportunities are there.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very good. CSE is very interesting subject and moreover the course here is very good. Practical learning is highly focused. Practical approach is much used. Research related infrastructure is getting better day by day. Many other fields of research are there.

Internships Opportunities

College provides internship at reputed companies. The average stipend amount is around 4000 INR. There are not very much opportunities but for CSE there are good companies visiting the college.

Placement Experience

The placement are fine with a good 91.2 percent placement and average package of 490000 INR. The major companies were Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Tata motors, SanDisk, L & T, etc. Thus placement scenario is good specially for CSE branch. Lower branches have lower placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

1st year fees - 1,80,800 INR 2nd year fees - 1,90,000 INR 3rd year fees- 2,26,000 INR 4th year fees - 2,17,900 INR This is not much affordable by middle class people. Rest there are fee waivers for good board percentage people.

Faculty

The faculty is well qualified. They take our problems with full interest. Well in communication skills. Teaching skills are good. Good in interaction. Overall the standard of teaching is very good. My experience has been great.

GEU makes complete engineers!

Placement Experience:

Oracle these days as some alumni of our college are working there and they have made them come to our university every year. Google and Amazon as well hired students almost every year from our college and because it's a batch of 900 students the average is 8 lakhs as some students even gets placements of 40-50 LPA every year.

Good Talk

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th sem. Recently, Visa visited our college but didn’t make any offers. The highest package in 2024 was 84 LPA, while the average is around 4 LPA. Nearly 80% of students get placed across different companies. After my degree, I plan to build strong tech skills and aim for a good software developer role.

A conforting campus experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

the btech curriculum is relevant with good balance of theory labs and project which influenced my decision to join it prepares students for internships and higher studies .adding more industry workshops and latest tools would help. exams are moderate with internal tests and one final each semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum at graphic era hill university as highly relevent and fairly comprehensive because it include all the essential subjects like data structures ,operating system , database management systems etc.the combinatiin of both practical abd theory subject can help student to gain real word knowledge and can also achieve technical skills,the curriculum could be improve by adding more hands on industry projects , live workshop and update elective options that focus on current technologies ,exam frequency is well structured with one mid semester and one end semester , the exams are moderately difficult .

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

Oracle, Microsoft, DeShaw and almost every company which needs IT services have looked upon GEU because we are trained that way. This is the reason our median has gone up and this year was a breakout year for placements for GEU as over 15-20 students were hired for packages of over 40 LPA.

You can get various scholarships on the basis of your percentile in jee mains and your 12th percentage. It's around 100 percent for 90+ percentile in jee mains and 100 percent for 95+ in PCM in 12th.
