Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As iam very much interested in computer science engineering so I chose this course. After getting into the college my first 2 years were very strict and used to have regular classes , works , assignments.. and exams were also seemed to be little hard and the faculty were some of them were really good and friendly.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

As far this year due to recession only few companies have visited our college . Companies such as Commonvault, Deloitte, My sigma, alien groups , vintrus , Accenture, etc and they offered different roles such as software developer, management trainee etc.Cominh to projects they make us finish a minor and major projects from campus and they also charge for those as well

Placement Experience

3

The student's after reaching 3-2 or 4-1 they will become eligible for campus placement. The students who have no backlogs or upto 2 backlogs are eligible for campus placements. The companies like Accenture, alien group, HCl, commonvault, Deloitte, Mu sigma etc many companies have visited as far now and the success rate of placements are average

Fees and Financial Aid

My fee structure was normal per year it would cost around 1L - 1.2L including all the exam charges. But as every year passing by the fee structure is increasing which I think it is not worth it and the other fees such as transportation fees etc are also higher than expected. They try to charge the students whenever they get the chance .

Campus Life

3

The life at the campus is pretty good . There are atleast 2 cultural events per year and tech fests, competitions are regularly conducted. And there are 2 Central libraries where we get access to books and journals that we need . Coming to classrooms and the amenities are little less than expected. Activities of sports and extra curricular are not that focused or supported in our campus. Clubs such as e-entra as of I know

Admission

The admission process was very simple , it is based on the eamcet rank they would check whether we are eligible or not , if eligible they would categorise to which department we are eligible among various branches like computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, electronics and communication engineering etc.. Coming to improvement progress in admission process as I come from a oc general caste I obviously got little low rank as due to reservation where we get probelm to get into top colleges where the other lower caste people can easily get into .

Other Applied Colleges

CVR College of Engineering, Ibrahimpatnam | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Because it is one the top collages in Hyderabad and as my eamcet rank is low I couldn't get into that college.

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.
