Good place to spend four years

Even though having lack of good infrastructure, the college is the best place to learn and hang out for 4-5 years. We do have students who do their M.Tech and PhD here.

I got into this college through the JEE(Joint Entrance Examination). My AIR was 18000 but my OBC rank helped me to get admission here. This college was my 2nd option on choice filling and I got the same on my first allotment. There was no interview process, the admission was very easy. We had to produce all the necessary documents.

I love computers, that's why I chose B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The course is the favorite among students in almost all colleges throughout the country. We have 4 hours of programming labs, 4 hours of Physics practicals and 2 hours of hardware lab every week. This provides us with good practical skills. For first-year students, there are no research initiatives or electives.

For the first years, till now there are no internships provided as we are in a track of learning. I don't know anything about the internships provided by the college, but our professor said that the college will help you in finding internships.

The placement record is very good. The average package offered is around 9-10 LPA. Major companies like Amazon, Smartprix, etc visit us every year and recruit almost 70% of the students, but only a few qualify for the good package. But the placement cell says that it is going to get better in the coming years.

The fee structure is not so affordable. We have to pay around Rs 86,000 for the first year and Rs 72,000 for the second year. For the facilities provided, the fee is quite high for all students.

Exams were chill. the schedule was so cool that we never felt the pressure of exams. We just had one exam per day to keep ourselves less occupied with studies.

The faculties are excellent in their area of study. They are very helpful, except some who are not interested in teaching students rather in doing research work. We also have PhD scholars who visit us occasionally to handle classes. They are also good in physics and mathematics classes. The standard of teaching is very high.
