Remarks

My overall experience is goodand exciting till now. The college has been good and I really appreciate the efforts of the volunteers during the events whenever a department conducts. Overall a average college. It's good to be in college.

Entrance Preview

I wrote CET. My parents love this college a little too much, that's how I landed up here! Yeah, the interview process was such that they checked my 12th and 10th grade marks and decided how smart I am based on the marks, which I think is highly absurd. Moreover, they even decided my fee structure based on the marks... I feel in education atleast, there shouldn't be any biasing and all of us should be treated equal because we have come here to gain knowledge, not to gain some precious diamonds or something that they charged us so much. I am computer science engineering currently, I have always been interested in this subject the most compared to the rest of them, I find programing interesting and would love to know it's depths and work on it to make something new out of it also!

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It ain't bad, I'm finding it super easy! 50% focus on practical learning. Yes many research initiatives are being taken up by this institute. Data mining and professional ethics.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know if this college provides an internship. I'm still a first year student. Usually seniors have the internship and all I don't know any of my seniors till now!!

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement scenario.. Seems to be not that great here. I think only 80% of the students got placed and only about 30% got placed in the best of companies. The major companies that visit the campus are Infosys, Wipro, bookmytrip, amazon etc. I think the average package was about 25,000 to 50,000 per month.

College Events

1.5

Impulse, oxytech, meramechatronics, arundino robot workshop, python workshop, and many many many events all technical, cultural and managerial fests do take place quite frequently in this college. It's good and nice. But the euphoria and the excitement the that a fest should have in it, lacks very badly in this college. The average footfall I would say is good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have come here through management quota, the fee structure was not that expensive also but not that affordable also. It was 2.5 lakh for 1st year and the rest of the years 1 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college provides many scholarships. About 80% of the students avail it. This college seems to be very helpful with the scholarship stuff. No, I did not avail it because I think it's useless for me, only about a reduction of 3000 per year from 1 lakh, is I think vague!

Campus Life

1.5

The extra- curriculars is fine. Many sports, drama, dance, music and painting competitions take place here. It's good.

Hostel Facilities

1

I don't reside in hostel. My friends who stay there say, it's ok. Yes they share rooms I think 3 in a room. They say the basic services are really bad and the food is also bad.

Alumni/Alumna

The interaction is good. Many platforms are provided for the good interaction with the alumni. Yes the alumi, are very sincere toward the college's success.

Exam Structure

The exams and labs are happening periodically which ain't tiring, the lab is not very frequent like consecutively for 2 days also but once every week which is not tiring at all but interesting and exams also a periodic pattern is followed which is very helpful actually.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty are highly qualified.. My 1st sem physics engineering teacher has done post doctoral, I didn't know that a degree higher than phd ever existed until I met her!!! And the other faculty is also highly qualified in the similar manner. I think each lecturer has a teaching experience of atleast more than 10 years, so they are quite good.they are very interactive, they make sure that each student understands what they speak they personally come to each one of us while they teach and ask if we have any doubts whether we are understanding them properly, apart from only teaching they conduct debates, quizzes, seminars and general discussion on the subject which makes the subject very interesting to learn further.

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
