Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course bcoz i was interested in science. The faculty was absolutely fine and the student ratio was about 100:2 All was PhD ones. The teaching method they used was great. The exams was yearly. It was lil bit difficult to pass it.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not sure about the fee structure properly because it was all done by my parents. It is I think good to study in that campus as compared to other universities. I got science scholarship in which stipend was 6000 per year.

Campus Life

The annual fest and tech fest was good. The library is well designed and we'll maintained Classrooms are well equipped Sports and co-curricular activities are performed in a well manner. I am not aware about the social group any.

Admission

It was based on percentage . I got selected as per percentage acquired in class ,12th..but now the process has been changed and I am not aware of the said ..... The application fee was about 1000. I don't think there should be any improvement.

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.

I didn't apply for other college but i had opportunities while councelling, I might go in other universities like baba ghulam shah baadshah university in my own district rajouri but the reason of rejecting that university because fee was very high there.Otherwise my opinion about that university is also amazing.I didn't get any rejection from any college.
