Remarks

It's a good college compared to other engineering colleges u can join it if u've got a good rank but the location of the college is not good u need to cross the silk board if ur travelling from north to south its takes minimum of 45mins to travel about 4 kms ....

Entrance Preview

I got in through kcet the total cost through kcet is 75k. Der was no interview or any such thing. I was interested in CS that's the reason I chose it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Am just in d beginning of the bachelors degree I don't know much about it, there are research activities happening in the college, electives I guess according to our syllabus we have these Java, c++, and some of the programming languages

Internships Opportunities

I don't know about it am in the first year when I'll get to knlw about it I'll surely edit the review, usually this section is for the senior s who have come to atleast 3rd year, I am still in the first year and this year I got the admission

Placement Experience

I don't know much abt it.....Seniors tell tht the placements are average neither good nor bad, comapnies like Paytm,bosch,juspay etc comapnies visit our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes through kcet it is affordable! 50k should be paid to kcet and 25k to the college. They charge around 1k for lab records etc...

Campus Life

It's not good interms of extracurricular activities. There r quite few activities. Those few activities don't seem to be intresting. It's actually boring at college only studies and exams that's it!

Exam Structure

It's based on vtu so it's same lik all other colleges in karnataka.

The standard of teaching is good teachers are friendly but they need to improve the infrastructure lik class rooms for 1st sem students are in bad condition. Hygiene in and around the campus is really bad!!!

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Well my subjects are right now, physics, pop(c), java,IME (introduction to mechanical engineering), mathamatics. Well curriculum is great as we got more programming languages and some of the moderate difficulty i would say. And also better exam conduction .
