Good college for good studies, campus life and get to know more people

First of all Bsc Computer Science is currently a job offering course! It has a scope in the future and thats why i chose this course! Faculty members are fine for Computer science department! There are some beginner faculties who doesn't really know how to teach in our department like 1 or 2! Others are perfect! They know their job. They are not so energetic like other department faculties but fine.

There are no promises from the college about placements when we join the college. So they dont have to really give placements to students. But i heard some do get placements very few in this course. There are some projects to do in final year going to calicut or kochi.

For my 3 year course it costs about 18750 rs for each 6 semester. And there are scholarship opportunities like NSP! I have applied it in my first year but haven't received money yet. About 3 months ago the verification process for that scholarship has happened and I verified. But god knows when will the money be credited. There is no campus jobs in my knowledge.

There are no problems in campus life. It has become a little strict than last year but programs are not a problem at majlis.There are freshers day, college day which is annual fest, food fest, then onam,Christmas,Holi etc... and clubs like NSS, YRC, IEDC can help students socialise each other! There is a block only for library in college. Amenities in classrooms are not bad and they will fulfill our needs if we need anything. Sports,Arts and Games are performed perfectly in college. Games like rugby, volleyball, football camps are performed dialy. And college provides gym too.

I applied for merit in order to avoid donation but didn't get! So have to go college management and they gave an application form about 200 rs only! I think applications starts at june every year! I was an OBC student and i applied early so there wasn't a difficulty situation for me! They called me in one month saying i got selected and to go there! There were a group discussion with parents and directors of college about academic marks, family income etc...! And one meeting with principal! I had to give 10000 donation for this course!

There is no written test or interview for me but a group discussion with directors and then one with principal. They asked about family income, academic marks, and our personality. But recently our college became autonomous like 2 months ago. So there could be written exams and interviews in coming years.
