Likes

Campus infrastructure is exotic and rich in manner. Hostel facilities and everything is so good. Almost every part of the campus looks like a heritage museum
Studies with no pressure: minimal syllabus and easy topics make the study manner more liberal, also attendance other things not strict exams are the final decision which makes you pass or fail
Low fees and low expenses makes it more worthy to be study here. We are getting top notch resources and lifestyle with less money

Dislikes

This university runs in a traditional way which is more of an undeveloped manner
Illegal settlers are a big threat to this university, many are here
Security breach is a big problem here. No gates closed or having surveillance every outsiders can enter the university

Course Curriculum Overview

Iam passionate to be an English teacher. And this university has good mentors for my dream. Syllabus is minimal and easy, faculties are good , reputed and has a good educational background. Student & faculty relation is also good. Exams are done in sharp & strict schedule. Passing is easy but scoring top is much difficult

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Addmission fees is around 11500 which includes 1st year tution fees & hostel accommodation. From 2nd year onwards it reduces to 8000. Monthly food bill is between 1400-1800. There is no other additional fees. It's more easy to live here. Expenses are very less. There are many scholarships available, alumni scholarships are the highlighted one and also State & central government scholarships are also there

Campus Life

Aligarh is not a vibrant campus. I won't recommend it for people who consider college life to be colourful. It's a intellectual space , where you get all the learning aspects of bookish knowledge. Extra curricular activities are there. University competitions are there. But not evident. Campus Life is not good here , enjoying fests or parties are not here.

Admission

Addmission was based on entrance exam, which is notified in website 3-4 months earlier. For bachelors student with 55% mark on plus two has the eligibility. Seats are reserved as of ranking, there is internal reservation in this university All details shared in University website, cut off changes according to year & course

Placement Experience:

?I dont remeber clearly about the eligibjlity process but i think from the sem5 students are eligible for the placement campus im not sure about it ?many companies like Pan India ,Sbi ,axis bank etc visited in the campus ?the avarage package i have seen from the student got the 4 to 5 Lpa And the hight i think its 13Lpa ?60% PECENTAGE OF STUDENTS getting placemnets ? my plans are diffrent ,after completing my degree i want to go further for the film making

All you need to know before getting admission in B.A course at A.M.U

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for campus placement. However the campus placement doesn't prove very helpful. Few people get placement from B.A courses. Students of B.Com and B.Sc are more likely to get placement.

Remarks:

Any of my siblings studied from this college which gave me a clear view of the environment of this college from the start. It was also very close to my home making it easier for me to commute daily. And as I always wanted to study in an all girls college, this seemed a better option. It had good faculty and infrastructure making it different from other colleges around.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any).
