Remarks

I never expected such a life, before coming here it was really a boring life, but now I have access to 10 mbps net, an adorable sports complex, a beautiful campus, helpful seniors.

Entrance Preview

Entrance is only through JEE MAIN exam for IPG and BTECH students...

Course Curriculum Overview

If u r an IPG student than in the first year almost all the main stream subjects are taught except chemistry including language and communication skills, however if u r an Btech student than the focus will be altogether on coding and stuff ( only cs is available as an option in case u go for btech)

Internships Opportunities

Seriously lots of internships options are available even though mostly u r not going to get paid, but yes ,I was suprised to see internship options even for Ist year students...

Placement Experience

I m in Ist year so don't know exactly about placements but yes last year figures are available and they seems decent..

Fee Structure And Facilities

Ist semester around 85000 2nd sem 65000 , so basically it is affordable for me , may not be for some , in that case u will get a chance to get scholarship on basis of ur jee main rank and family income,and please remember this is an autonomous institute so the criteria given by HRD ministry for fee structure doesn't work here...

Hostel Facilities

The fees mentioned above included hostel and mess charges.Hostel is decent, u will find it good if u don't have very high expectations...

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

So many labs exams are very easy you just study last night and u will make it good.

Be mentally prepared to study on ur own.Seniors will help u for sure , u will all the required resources but u will have to do it urself, don't expect much from faculties....

Sunstone is planning placement for us as they promised a lest placement of 4lpa or more from the extra courses they are running and training is and also provides chances to sit in multiple interviews of companies. Companies like appzeto , even digit, Lancesoft many students git placement of 7lpa. After degree if I can get placement from sunstone sage I will get it or try to crack off campus placement.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

Good but not Bad

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester student can apply for internships and for placement student should be in 5th semester of his or her college life. There's very difficulties in getting placed by the company because few of the company comes to college and very fewer gets placed. So student must develop the skills on their own and apply for off campus selection. More than 8.5 cgpa for average package and more than 9 cgpa is required for a good company... I'm planning to give upsc exams after graduation

Placement Experience:

Not much helpful in terms of placements.not very big MNC companies visit there and average packages are not much high the faculty will not guide you about placements you have to prepare on your own and apply for offline placements.

From the 7th or 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. there are too many it companies visited here like TCS Infosys etc. The highest package in this college is 8lpa. From my point of view, this college is not suitable for good campus placement.

Insider Placements of IIITM Gwalior

my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

The other colleges that I applied to were: IIIT Lucknow in which i was getting B.Tech in computer science and some private colleges.
