Remarks

Well, to conclude KIIT is the place where you can enjoy the facilities like Swimming Pool, Multipurpose Gyms etc like any other Internationally acclaimed Institution but you have to pay the amount which is quite less compared to those institution and faculty is quite good.

Entrance Preview

KIIT has its own admission test KIITEE every year. You have to sit for a online test at your preferred center. A few weeks after the exam, they inform you your rank through Email and also hard copy of the Rank Card is sent by Post. Then you have to appear for the Counselling process to book your provisional seat according to the dates provided by the institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The syllabus is pretty much standard as followed for the particular branch in other colleges. Though their are scopes of research and publishing papers if the student is willing to with the help of the faculties. And the Institution tries to provide classes for Training and Placement from 5th Semester for the preparation of Campus Placement Drive.

Internships Opportunities

The University does provide for paid internships during the 6th Semester. Interested students need to go through a selection procedure similar to that of a Recruitment Drive. Startups from across the country visit to offer Internships and PPOs to the students.

Placement Experience

4.5

The Institution holds a pretty good record of Placements and Job opportunities. At least among the private colleges of Eastern India, KIIT secures a high position in this regard. The Training and Placement Cell does a lot for the students and help the students in every possible ways to secure a job.

College Events

5

The College celebrates all types of Regional festivals for it's students from around the country in the Student Activity Centre. It also organizes an annual Techno-Cultural Fest called KIITFEST which have hosted performers like Sunidhi Chauhan,Sonu Nigam,Benny Dayal and Sunburn.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is not quite high not quite low also. The fees keeps on increasing each year for the New Coming batch. The College provides different choices of Hostels and rooms, for which the students need to pay extra. The standard room allotted is 3Bed NonAC Rooms.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Branch Topper of each branch gets a particular scholarship from the Founder which am not exactly aware of. And the College provides everything needed for Educational Loans from the banks.

Campus Life

5

The Student Activity Centre is the best place to be in the Campus for students interested in Extracurricular activities. The institution supports all types of Cultural and educational Activities. Dramatics,Music,Dance,Debate,Robotics, Aeronautics etc all have their individual societies under the Student Activity Centre (SAC).

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The College has more than enough Hostels to provide for it's students. Both AC and Non AC Hostels are there. The Hostel food , although is not very classy but yes, it's eatable and hygienic. They provide Laundry Services which is included in the fees.

Alumni/Alumna

The 3rd year that I have already spent have been the best years. And the 1st year left is assured to be memorable. If you support the college,if you support the management they will help you out in every possible way.

Exam Structure

There are usually a Mid Semester examination and an End Semester examination for every Semester.Apart from that there are regular Quiz Tests taken by the respective subject teachers. The Labs are provided with modern day Instruments and help the students a lot to gain practical, hands on experience.

Admission

The management of the University is quite organized and helps you out during the admission process. The counseling process is conducted over a couple of days, and students are called according to their secured rank in KIITEE.Also Girls get first preference during the Counselling process.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties are quite helpful and they try their best to clear out the doubts put forward at any possible time. Most of the Faculties are either from IITs or NITs and have specialization in their specific subject and genre. This knowledge in turn helps in Lab Practical Sessions also.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
