Likes

It is easy to get help. Anytime someone is in doubt they can visit their RC or SC for queries. You can also mail IGNOU support and their contact address can be found on ingou website.
Environment is positive all around. Teachers help students while being nice and it's really good thing in my eyes because many students need proper guidance these days.

Dislikes

Classes can be better. On weekends we have to sit whole day for classes and it can be overwhelming to take it all in. Teachers can try to come to main points quickly instead of only covering basics.
Nothing else. Everything is pretty fine, especially if you're a BCA student.

Course Curriculum Overview

-Selected this course due to my interest in computers. -Faculty and student ratio is highly uneven, mostly because BCA is an ODL and ignou is an open University, but there's always a staff member from IGNOU to help students out. -Teaching faculty are properly qualified with their degrees like MCA, and their teaching method is good enough. As I said, with open University it's more important to study yourself. -Exams are always done in timely manner and it is very easy to pass in any exam, even if you study only 5 hour for a subject.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

-The fee is consistent. Only 6500 for re registration for every semester, and 200rs per subject for the exams. No extra spending is required. Passing from IGNOU is pretty cheap and affordable for struggling students.

Campus Life

There is no life at the campus. It's mostly outside of it. Books are always available, and they reach you at home by post if you opt for it. Classes are conducted on weekends where teachers covers the basics of every concept and allow students to ask questions. The environment is positive all around.

-Any person who has passed 10th or 12th with more than 50 percentage is eligible for the BCA course. -To find the details of application fee and dates, log in to ignou.ac.in and check our the news section. It is always updated with important notifications. Link to application form can be found there. -Admission process is already simple and convenient, so no improvements are required.

Placements are also very good for a bachlor course my seniors have got package upto 4lpa and many are placed as junior developer in many MNCs . Some are building their own business . overall best college in Delhi Ncr for bca without maths students.

We have placement cell in our department and it is mostly active. Though, most of students go for higher studies after BCA but, If you want you can be placed in a good company if You have the skills . The college would help .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because i really like things about electronics, i feel attracted towards computer and stuff from childhood, then after opting computer science in 12th , i know what i want to do and chose this course. Talking about the faculty members, there is more than enough faculty members to handle the students, actually its more like a School where if one teacher is absent then some other teacher take the class. As far as the qualification of teachers is considered, i feel like they know how to teach there partiy subject, and that should be more than enough for students, teachers are nice and supportive towards students which i like the most about them. There are 2 semester in each year of course, in each semester there is one mid term exams and one end term exam, internal practical and external practical exams were akso held in each semester, and difficulty of exams is not so high, actually our teachers says that in IPU the more you write, the more you marks you get.

Remarks:

Can't say, first of all it's distance education and the lifestyle is such that it's ok to have what they have offered us in such a price range. Classes take place on weekends and hence you can hang out with friends outside the premises.

Ignou: Flexibility And Disappointment

I had also applied in DU for B.Sc. (Hons) Statistics but the cutoffs were very high and only a few top colleges offered that course. DU SOL also did not provide B.Sc. courses at that time, so I finally chose IGNOU. The admission process is fully online through the IGNOU website. You need to sign in, upload your Class 10 and 12 marksheets, Aadhaar or other supporting documents, fill personal details, and pay the course fee. For most courses you just need to pass Class 12, but for some courses there is a percentage requirement or specific subjects needed to study in class 12 like in my case maths. My overall admission experience was okay, but the approval process took a long time. In my case, it took almost 3 months to finally get the confirmation of admission....Read More
