Likes

There's no such criteria of attendance compulsion for some branches.
You can explore many things because of the clubs present in jec.
Faculty behaviour is good enough to encourage you.

Dislikes

There is very less annual fests, jec only focuses on students academics.
College canteen is not so good it's just a place to sit and relax nothing else.
College campus is so outdated, buildings are so old and never renovated

Course Curriculum Overview

I took mechatronics engineering which is introduced in year 2021. Faculty here is good enough to teach you every subject. Teaching method is good. Here in JEC, every semester there are 2 mid semester exams and a final end semester exam. The grading system here is 40+60 where 40% marks are scored on the basis of theory and other 60% are scored on the basis of practicals, attendance and student behaviour. Exams are very easy to clear you just need to solve pyqs and you can easily get passing marks but if you want a good CGPA then you need to study deeper.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placements are not so good here. You can select off campus placements offers If you want to go into corporate life. But if you have interest in startups and businesses, there is a club in our college which can provide you funding on the basis of your pitch.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees here is very affordable. 15k approx for each semester. No fees hike. You get scholarship on the basis of reservations for lower castes. For continuation of scholarship tou need to pass every semester without any back.

Campus Life

Fests are not so much entertained here as there is only one annual fest named as avahan. Tech fests are active only because of clubs present in the college. There is library in admin block of the college where alot of books are available as per your interest. You can also issue then with liberary card given to every student. On the basis of liberary card you can issue max of 5 books .

Admission

There is a exam called JEE(JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM) you have to clear before getting any govt. College for Btech degree. You get admissions based on the percentile you score in JEE. If you belong to any reservation category (SC,ST,OBC) you get extra benefits on the merits.

Average placements, Good infrastructure and Good placements

Placement Experience:

I think for 7th and 8th semister students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies like tcs, Amazon, Capgemini, D mart and etc and some other companies. The highest package is about 8 lacs and the lowest package around 2 lacs. The good number of students are placed in the college and like 20 to 40 percentage students have placed in college placements. After getting this degree I will try for a job or I will go for master's.

Placement Experience:

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Placement Experience:

After 10th semester the student are available for campus placement Cap Gemini kpit Amazon apple and Google and many other companies are visited in my call is the average package of my college is 6 lakh and the highest package of my colleges 50 lakh about 17% students are getting of placement plan in the student a job is in the Google company average salary from reviews include that the average salary can be low despite Google placement are management of few reviews point out that the management is not always a student focused and from spectrum of the colleges operations could be improved college provider placement as compared to other colleges but college management are not good our very helpful for our students our colleges are very good and and facilities of placement but our colleges are not available in pure water in and drink not available in not available drinking water

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.
