Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is well prepared by the faculties from the university. It properly covers the syllabus to achieve the subject outcomes. Faculty to student ratio in the college is fair. By the increment of each semester we get more experienced teachers. All the faculties staff has atleast done M.Tech and some senior faculty members are phd graduates also. We have our term/internal exams every month, it is not much difficult to pass, it just prepare us for the end semester examination by covering the portion of the syllabus gradually and testing it out.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

We get many internship opportunities with the help of Centre of Excellence department. Last year one of the student from CSE got a stipend of 1.5 lakh per month from cred. Hods help in making several projects that will fetch us a good internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

From 7th semester, the students are eligible to sit in the campus placements. Highest package is 56 lakhs CTC from adobe and the average package is around 6 lakhs CTC. Almost 90 percent students gets placed on or of campus. My plan is to get a good package from the placements after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is like most of the private colleges only. It is about 2.6 lakhs per annum and if you are staying in the hostel you will pay around 1 lakh more so totally the college including the hostel and mess will cost around 3.6 lakhs per academic year. The college conducts various hackathons to help students grow. Also it has a department called center of excellence in which faculty of some better colleges come and make students learn any technology they are interested in. It attracts various internship opportunities also. So overall placements and internships opportunity is good where we can anytime reach to HODs for some assistance.

Campus Life

4.5

The life at campus is equally balanced between academics, cultural and sports activities. We have a famous hostel fest known as Utopia which helds every year. In this 4 teams are divided from the hostels and they compete in different activities for 15 days and on the last day we have dj nights and all. We also have a bi annual fest known as pantheon in which several colleges come to the campus and we host several competitions. Like this we have many more fests. About the library, it is the most beautiful part of the campus. It is recently renovated and the infrastructure is so good inside. Also the Library has almost every book that one needs. Each classrooms have projectors and white screen installed where teachers demostrate the topics. From cultural and sports to coding, the college has many clubs/societies to help one grow.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostels are good and clean. Each room has their personal attached washroom with italian seats. Alternative days cleaning is there of the rooms. All the rooms are 3 sharing only. No other options are there. For registration, one need to head to the college office where a seperate cabin is there for hostels. Menu is good only with north and south indian foods. 3 times food is there with milk, tea and coffee facilities in the morning and evening both.

Admission

I had given an entrance exam known as comedk that fetch you admission in different colleges of karnataka. Eligibility for that was to score atleast 65% in 12th Boards. About the application form, we can get it from the comedk site only. The fees for the form is about 1800-2000. Application dates arrives mostly in the month of january or February.

The courses are very nice since it is an autonomous college the courses have been designed to provide the students with knowledge of the latest technology and the need of the hour. Although the new subjects becomes a little difficult to understand sometimes at the end it's going to benefit us itself .

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.

This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.
