The fact the a person who belong to poor family like me can also graduate through IGNOU
The submission of assignment can its marks distribution is good.
The book of the BCA are significantly good

The website of ignou is major factor to dislike IGNOU.
The notification system of the university is something that requires work.

Course Curriculum Overview

The reason to choose this is course is that i have in personal edge for technology. The faculty members are good and very passionate about teaching.Most of the faculty member have degree in b.tech, M.tech, Mca, Bca etc. The exam are conducted in timely and fair manners. The minimum percentage to pass the exam is 40%

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 42000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of study for BCA is 42000 for 3 years i.e 7000 per semester. The student can apply for the scholarship under merit based. The exam fee for the BCA in particular is 1800 per semester. The Project report cost approximately 6000 in 5th semester

Campus Life

There is hackathon conducted on yearly basis while the annual fest is not conducted as usually. The books are given to the student through the indian post when they pay their full semester fees. the books can be track through indian post website.

Admission

The eligibity of the course is that the applicant must be 12th standard pass.The minimum marks needed for the admission is 55% in 12th standard.To find the application form, application fees and application dates all are availbal on their official webiste i.e ignou.ac.in.There may or may not be a Reservation benefit since i havent applied for any.The interface of the website is not so user friendly and lacks a lot during the admission procedure.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also very good for a bachlor course my seniors have got package upto 4lpa and many are placed as junior developer in many MNCs . Some are building their own business . overall best college in Delhi Ncr for bca without maths students.

Placement Experience:

We have placement cell in our department and it is mostly active. Though, most of students go for higher studies after BCA but, If you want you can be placed in a good company if You have the skills . The college would help .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because i really like things about electronics, i feel attracted towards computer and stuff from childhood, then after opting computer science in 12th , i know what i want to do and chose this course. Talking about the faculty members, there is more than enough faculty members to handle the students, actually its more like a School where if one teacher is absent then some other teacher take the class. As far as the qualification of teachers is considered, i feel like they know how to teach there partiy subject, and that should be more than enough for students, teachers are nice and supportive towards students which i like the most about them. There are 2 semester in each year of course, in each semester there is one mid term exams and one end term exam, internal practical and external practical exams were akso held in each semester, and difficulty of exams is not so high, actually our teachers says that in IPU the more you write, the more you marks you get.

Remarks:

Can't say, first of all it's distance education and the lifestyle is such that it's ok to have what they have offered us in such a price range. Classes take place on weekends and hence you can hang out with friends outside the premises.

Ignou: Flexibility And Disappointment

I had also applied in DU for B.Sc. (Hons) Statistics but the cutoffs were very high and only a few top colleges offered that course. DU SOL also did not provide B.Sc. courses at that time, so I finally chose IGNOU. The admission process is fully online through the IGNOU website. You need to sign in, upload your Class 10 and 12 marksheets, Aadhaar or other supporting documents, fill personal details, and pay the course fee. For most courses you just need to pass Class 12, but for some courses there is a percentage requirement or specific subjects needed to study in class 12 like in my case maths. My overall admission experience was okay, but the approval process took a long time. In my case, it took almost 3 months to finally get the confirmation of admission....Read More
