What Students Say

Likes

The students group are good. The management is good and so no ragging is happening.
Library is quite large and you will get any books of your interest.
The area of Warangal is quite good. It is not in some Village but in proper town.

Dislikes

New director has reduced the power of club and reduced the innovation happening there.
The senior-junior interaction is not good here as the hostels are quiet changing everytime.
Some staffs are outdated and hinder the innovative ideas of students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Metallurgical and Material science is newer than the older course of Electronic and electrical and mechanical. However the growth of it in India and in abroad is very high. People can opt for masters and go to research in it. Faculties are highly qualified in our institute and they have knowledge of every field.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

Companies come to campus in large amounts. They give pretty good CTC. Average is likely to be 12 lakh. For metallurgy it was 8lakh, 2 years prior which rose to 10 lakh this year. For MME most people get it in 8th semester only.

Fees and Financial Aid

65000 per semester tution fees. 11000-14000 per semester hostel fees. 115 per day mess charge. For SC/ST, no tution fees. For below 1lakh family income, no tution fees. For a 1-5 lakh family income, 40k relief in tution fees.

Campus Life

TechFest - Technozion in December-January. CulturalFest - SpringSpree in Spring months. Multiple clubs are there. Some notable clubs are the Business Club, Innovation Garage, DnD( dance and dramatics), Music, Sports, and a few others.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel changes every year. Best hostel in 2nd year in terms of cleanliness. 1st year hostel is one of the biggest in Asia. Meal quality is average. Now new mess is opening, so many changes will be seen in near future.

Hostel Fee: INR 28000 per year

Admission

It was through JEE Mains exam. My cutoff to the course was 24k all India Rank for General without quota. Reservation for SC/ST,they do not have to fill the admission fees. For family income less than 1lakh also no tution fees.

Coming to the placements our college will be in the first place . Because we will get over 20- 30 for internships and 200-400 for full time companies . So I would give it a 5 star rating for that. The highest pack is 55 lakh and the avg is 8 lakh . I want to get places in a good tech company. From 3 rd semester students can be available to sit in the placements

My Review My Perspective

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is good and mostly useful. The main reason I chose this course is because the subjects were interesting to me. We have two mid-term 30 Marks Each exam and one final exam 60 Marks in every semester. There are internal assignments and lab exams also. The exams are not very hard, but you need to study regularly. Most students pass if they prepare properly.
