Course Curriculum Overview

I choosen this colege due to its great placement and placement percentage and its near to my state And fculty ration is quite good Some faculty did phd mtech froom iits and forein universities Two exams mainly conducted in semester one is mid semester and one is end semester and if u play attention in class then u can easily excel in ur exams by slight revision

Class Size: 98Course Fees: INR 62500 per year

Placement Experience

Placement and internship sene is quite good from 3rd year student started to get placements and many big conpanies comes to the colleges and the highest pakage offere from college is 83lpa and average is around 15.98 lpa And nearly 98.8 percent students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends upon your income range if ur income range is below 1 lakh per annum then u have to pay only hostel abd mess fee and if ur income is between 1 to 5 lpa then u have to inly pay obe third of ur tution fee and hostel mess fee andif ur parents income is above 8lpa then u have to pay full or nearby 8 to 10 lpa for 4 year of btech And there is certain scholorship u will get based on ur income such as medhavi, National scholorshiops etc.. Are there.

Campus Life

Annual fests is named by culfest and it happend in ferbury and there are many books in library are there and there is all facilities of sports are there in Nit jsr and mnany social handles of nit jsr is runned by students.

Hostel Facilities

The food is provided is quite okay Wifi is installed but till now it is not good working U have to register for hostel by paying fee on qfix abd you can easily get here hostel Hostel is quite decent In first year u will get two seater room but from 2nd year u will get 1 seater room till graduation

Admission is done through the enterance exam name as Jee mains You can apply through Nta jee mains website and application fee varies upon your category for general/ews/obc it ia round 1250 and exam is conducted certain range of dates

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
