Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in electrical and enjoy in doing electrical problems and connecting to the circuits and we are having mid sem, quizzes and end sem and some courses having presentation to check the communication skills of students

Fees and Financial Aid

National scholarship and monthly scholarship which is the students having their income less than 5lakhs and I got placed in dasher Technologies with an stipend of 50000 per month and about fees hike is not possible

Different clubs are run by students that are music club, sports club and robotics and programming club which is under the students they will take decisions on their own for to be better option and clubs are very important in every college

My room is allocated by college when we are get admission in college by cracking jee exam and room hospitality are that having wifi, electricity, washing machine and iron box and induction stove for cooking

We have to crack the examination of jee main and advance to get admission in iits and there is no application form to fill it will directly invited when crack the exam and reservations benefits are if we get low marks and qualify the cutoff marks

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Admission:

I prepared for 2 years then cleared jee mains exam. The preparation was not hard though you need to be consistent with your studies. After the result I filled my counselling on jossa.nic.in with the priorities of colleges and branches. After that there were 7 rounds I got my seat in 6th round.

IIT Mandi- my home and karmbhoomi

Honestly I initially thought of branch change and college in some what cold place which led me to this college. Our college is moderate in comparison to other iits, obviously you cant compare it with old iits , but yeah its decent enough, having good students and friends. Placement of four college is better than other iits. Some years result in placement ogf good no. of students whereas some leads to okish. The sport facilities are ok. Swimming pool is not of olympic size and it requires lot of time for repair of the sport equipments. Admission process is through Jossa counselling after JEE Advanced. I applied for VIT, NIT BHOPAL, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Jammu, IIT BHU, IIT Ropar, NIT Durgapur, and many of the IITS and NITS. I choose only this so, didn't fill for confirmation for others. IIT MANDI KE ANSUNE KISSE

The admission process at IITs are generally common through a cmon entrance exam all over India named jee mains for nits and then after qualifying in that we need to score good in jee advanced. There are reservations for sc, st, obc and economically backward classes. Like you can get good branches with lower marks. For example in computer science you can get 6000 rank for obc but around 2000 for general candidates....Read More
