I like the overall eide range of college life..Campos life is very good
All clubs are well Fecileted. Clubs activities happens through the year
Facility members are corporative and helps in all perspective

Dislikes

Infrastructure can be improved. Classrooms can be more fecileted
Office work can be more simplified and give students some more benifit
College timing is not good it can be improved

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for this course because i was preparing for neet and it was my main paper. The department had 15 faculties who teach and around 100 student in a batch or semester. The facility members were all phd graduate in their respective fields and doing their research for overseas. The examination were timely on a period of time.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee was not to high around 5000 during the admission and rougly around 3000 per semester and the examine fee around 1200 per semester. The government provides the scholarship to the St/sc student.

Campus Life

Campus life is very ammeging. There are meny clubs like sports club, drama club dancing club. All clubs are active and all organises their event . Various sports are in the university and the team is sent to represent the university in the the championship

Admission

On the basis of the marks scored in respective subject of course opted for the graduation with 60% and more marks. The application form can be filled from chancellor portal all the steps were online . Only the documents verification was offline. Overall it was very easy to fill the form

placement facility in the college is very poor , only few companies come for the placement and only few students placed , but the if we consider the average package of the college then it is aroun 3 lakh per annum

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually biotechnology is an interdisciplinary program where we have to learn mostly the practical skills but there is no such equipment for doing a decent type of research work as they are not in a working condition. So first it has to be corrected and new equipment should have to buy for a making a good laboratory.

A Transformative Journey : My College Experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.

BITM is known for great placements. Campus placement is good . Average package is 15 lpa. CS -19 lpa Mnc- 15 lpa Ece- 15lpa Mech- 10lpa BITM offer better placement than most of NITs. Many students crack off campus placement. CS highest- 1.86cr MNC highest- 89lpa.

Because I made my mind so clear and I was interested in coding. Faculty of Information technology department is far good and their management system is nice they guide us in a far easier way. The student ratio is 100 : 50-50 The teaching methods on this pandemic is now online but the teachers put their efforts in a way for good. In terms of exams, the IT department is smart and they conduct in the priority of students best possible way so all the students can may appear their exams properly.

St. Columbas college Is the best in my city

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am chosen this course because mathematics is my strongest subject from all of the others that's why I can choose mathematics. Faculty member of our college is very supportive but some of the teachers are very rude behaviour. Our college teachers are very disciplined about teaching and any project work. My class have 250 students. Every semester our college takes mid sem exam then a viva exam, assignment on every paper, group discussion, surprise test. The exam pattern was based on their classes. The exam pattern is moderate most times.

Positive: Good staff, your work will be finished in a day or in two days. Negative: There are group of aggressive students active in campus but don't worry they don't problem for you until you mesh with them. Also there in lack of proper classes and study in regular order.
