since computer science is on boom and also the average package of my college for computer scuence this year was close to 30 lpa hence money is also a motivation baring that this was my best choice if constraints like rank in jee mains are applied

almost all company visit for campus placements since I am from computer science branch companies such as atlassian ,amazon and intuit offers maximum package with highest package being 83 lakhs per annum .There are companies for internship as well such as atlassian ,google if you get a refferal and banks such as citibank etc

In terms of placements this college in among top 5 NITS of our country with average package of computer science being 27 lpa and overall average is 17 lapa even core palcements are very good in this college because of the fact that it is located in jamshedpur

Cost to study here is mininal because of the fact that almost all of the students get 100% tution fees waiver hence no tution fees for almost 80% of the student hence it makes it very affordable even for students coming from poor background .Apart from that you get various scholarship such as " FFE,NSP,EKALYAN ETC"

There are various fests organised here through out the year sports fest such as OJAS ,cultural fest is culfest and also so many technical and non technical fests are organised through out the year and also there are several club depending upon your area of intrest

Hostel facility is probably best among all NITS and IITs you get single room right from secind year and LAN is working very good hence there is no problem of internet also the rooms are very spacious by chance if you get mega hostel then it is pure bliss

After you qualify jee mains you are eligible to participate in admission taking process of JOSAA and if you qualify mains as well as advance you will be allowed to sit for IITs as well hence if you qualify only mains then you are eligible for NITS and if both then NITS as well as IITs depending upon your preferance, your category rank and availablity of seat you get a college and branch
