Review of NIT JAMSHEDPUR

I choose this course because iam interested in coding.The faculty here are quite good(most of them) and are supportive.As far as student ratio is concerned it is 4:1.All the faculty members are atlesat PhD scholars and most of them some researches beyond their qualifications.

NIT Jamshedpur typically collaborates with various companies across sectors such as engineering, technology, and management. These internships often cover roles in software development, engineering design, research projects, data analysis, and management consulting, among others. Projects during internships might involve developing software applications, conducting research studies, optimizing industrial processes, analyzing market trends, or contributing to engineering innovations. Outcomes could include prototype developments, research papers, process improvements, or innovative solutions, depending on the field and company.

From 4th year the students will be eligible for placements.In the year 2023, around 250 plus companies had visited and 750 plus offers had been made.The highest package was recorded as 83 lakh whereas the average stands at 15 lakh ,the average package of CSE is 26lakh.The percentage of students placed are around 98.

The fees structure depends on the reservation certificate you have.For example if you are a SC,ST,PWD candidate then you only have to pay the mess and hostel fee.There are no.of scholarships in the campus which you can avail(again depends on caste).The Most common one is NSP.

There are no of fests that happen in the college( CULT FEST- for cultural ,OJASS- technical fest) .We have a two storeyed library as well where all the books related to the branches and courses are present.Classrooms are top notched ,all of them are air conditioned have a mic and a presentation setup.There are plenty of clubs in the college ( clubs in every aspect) .Inductions happen to these clubs and students are choosen.Similarly there are sports clubs almost for evert sport for boys and girls .There happens a biggest Sports Fest known as URJA where teams of one branch compete with the other.

The hostel facility at NIT Jamshedpur is decent.In first year Two candidates are given a room (for boys ) and three for girls.From second year single rooms are alloted.A room is given with two beds,a fan ,a chair and two almarahs.The mess food is really good ,it has both veg and non veg.Registration for hostel will be held on the day of reporting itself.

Admission process happens after the result of jee advanced exam.Based on your jee main rank council will be held by JOSAA in which you are supposed to give your choices (it has 6 rounds +2 csab rounds goes for 2 months).You will then get a deserving choice based on your choices to which you can get into. Eligibility to write JEE MAIN exam is that you should atleast have a min of 75% marks in your 12th .As the council process also includes reservations,the more the chances are if you have a reservation.
