Placements is better than any other nits in this cutoff.faculty and student ratio is good.almost every faculty is phd and teaching style is also good. each semester have two exams namely midsem and endsem it is not so difficult to pass them.if you only focus in class whatever have been taught is enough to secure 8.5cgpa

if you get intern generally you will get sde role and stipend is around 40000 avg if u make projects like chatapp,portfolio website,ecomm website,etc but if you add some machine learning in your project it will be good for you

generally every students apply for companies in 3rd year some companies which visit nitjsr are -- amazon adobe flipkart gameskraft atlassian paypal paytm deshaw etc highest pacakage is about 83lakh by atlassian and average pacakage for cse is 26.66lakh and average pacakage is 15lakh girls are placed very easily but for boys it is difficult to get good pacakage. i dont know what to do after btech placements are good.

annual fees including hostel and tutions is about 210000. but there are so many government scholarships for category students and for general students there are some private scholarships some famous are ffe,ongc they give you around 40000 per year here placements and interns are better than any other nits in this range

college life is not that good as you expect. annual fest -> culfest tech fest->ojass in feb sport fest->urja in nov library is old not that much good books availability is decent extracurricular activities are not good. there are lots of club but if you are in cse they will not induct you. if you are in cse then there is only one option for you ie pcon(programming club on nit jsr) pcon --> programing club of nit jsr gdsc-->google developer student club innoreva-->adruino robotics they induct only ece students very few other branche student drift ray etc

hostel facility is not that much good. food is like okay okay hostel fees --> 85000 per year if you want to take room outside campus it is about 5000 per month there are 4 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls boys get single room in second year

you have to give jee mains for jee mains you have cleared class 12th with pcm with 75%. You have to secure rank under 9000 for cse nit jsr. you can find application form of jee mains from website fees-->500 dates-->january and april
