Course Curriculum Overview
World is moving towards IT. I want to enter software field because it offers a lot of money if you work hard. Your skills matter in this field. So I chose CSE. Faculty in this college are enough to handle students. There are many assistant professor under HOD. Professors look after whole class of 125 students. Faculty are very good in their fields except some. All faculties are PhD holders. They support students. You can approach them with doubts and attending classes regularly ensures that you get enough marks in exam. Some professor are not so much good but rest others are above average. At the end of semester, there is end semester exam and between which there is mid semester exam. If you attend class you can pass easily. It is not difficult to score 8 CGPA.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like atlassian, samsung,Amazon offers internship. They offer opportunities as software role. Tata steel offers opportunities in core field for internship. Project are to make website, app, develop IOT.
Placement Experience
Students of 7th semester appear for placement interviews. Companies like Amazon, atlassian, tata steel, Paytm, Qualcomm, phone pe, ola,Uber etc visit here. Highest package was 83lpa offered to 6 students by atlassian. Average package of CSE is 26lpa. Overall average is 15.81lpa. They basically offers software role. Apart from that core role is also offered. Overall placement is more than 95% . In many branch it is 100%. I am planning for on campus placement and job as software engineer.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is almost same. It is not going to differ much. Tuition fee is 62500. Adding all the extra fees like sports, hostel it goes to approx 110000. For the first semester you have to pay 122000 due to one time fee. From the next semester it is 110000. You will get enough amount of scholarship especially if you are girl or you are from SC/ST. Reliance scholarship, Amazon scholarship and many other scholarship you get here. Fee remission of 2/3 of tuition fee is offered if your family income is less than 5 lakh annually. And full fee remission is granted if family income is less than 1 lakh. So that amount also reduces your fee depending on annual income. You will face difficulty in scholarship of you are male from general category. Opportunities are less for them.
Campus Life
Life at campus is overall good. You will get environment to study. Coding culture is good here. Your senior will guide you to study so as to maintain good cgpa. Senior guide a lot. Annual fest is culfest which is held in February and technical fest is ojass whose orientation happened in November. There are 90+ competition on ojass for different domains. Basically Library is used at the time of end semester exam. You will get books related to course easily. Basically students depend on pdf so books are not used much. They are available in Library if you want. Classroom has AC,smart board. You can compare classroom to classroom of any IIT. They are properly maintained and size is enough to accomodate all students. Sports facility is not very good. Ground is there. But equipments are not in enough amount. Sports club are very active. Daily practice is part of schedule. Different club organised activities on regular basis. LDS is reputed club.SSC, innoreva, daksh, awaahn etc are clubs run.
Admission
I had to appear for JEE mains exam which is conducted by NTA. Application for exam is done online. Exam is conducted two times a year and final result is on the basis of best out of two exams. To be eligible for course, you should have passed 12th or appearing for boards. You should also secure good rank in merit in jee mains exam to get admission. You will find application form on official NTA website. Fees for general category is 1000. Application is generally released in December and exam is conducted in January and second time in April. You will find these information in brochure released by NTA every year. After you get rank you have to undergo JOSAA counseling where you are allotted college on the basis of rank. You have to fill choices for different NIT and course. On the basis of choice of every student you get college and then college website will guide you about the process of reporting and documents. You are getting admission in prestigious institute,so process will be long.
