I liked that course cost is very affordable
Teachers and HOD of department is very supportive
Environment is very calm pleasant and campus is covered in greenery

Dislikes

Disappointing is that only few fest take place in year
There is no campus placement and internships provided

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is very professional and in the Barkatullah law department, there is a minimum of 60 students. Teaching methods are also good, teachers are very supportive especially the HOD of the department. She is very generous and helpful. There are 2 sem in each year is a total of 10 in 5 years. Qualifying for exams here is easy if you are a good or average student

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for this course at the university is very cheap that is 20000 per year. They also provide the facility of scholarships. The negative point is that you will not get on-campus placement and internships from the department.

Campus Life

This is something you will miss here in comparison to private colleges. Only a few annual festivals take place in the department. There is a central library common for every department however every department has its own library

Hostel Facilities

Hostal facilities are in very cheap price which is 4500 per year and 1800 you have to give for meals per month . For registration you have to visit official website. These hostals are inside the campus

JLU School of Law is Rocking!

Placement Experience:

Only the law chambers advocates and Bhopal High Court top lawyers are the ones who provide us Internships as well as jobs. Most students have secured pre placement offer from them and that is how the placements of JLU School of Law are. Good to see that placements in recent past have increased and now law students are offered 40-50k starting salary offers.

Sage University Bhopal is too superb!

Placement Experience:

I want to pursue LLM and that is my plan and also to ensure that I get it NLSIU or NLU Delhi. Our university placements are good but for law as for us there are hardly any placements. From our department only 20-30% students get placed as of now but hopefully this will be better in years to come.

MPDNLU is a darling college!!

Placement Experience:

It's mostly the lawyers and law firms as arbitrators lawyers and solicitors firm. Also Litigation firms like AZB, Tatava Legal and others too took few students but not many though. Almost from a batch size of 200 students 40 odd got placed through campus.

Khaitan & Co, The Solicitors and MP High Court Law Firms as most have been hired for MP state firms only. National level law firms and corporate are yet to join hands but once it happens placement percentage which was 60 in 2024-25, will shoot to 80+ and avarage placement which were 6 lakhs will shoot to 12 lakhs a year.

It's mostly the law firms as corporate houses have so far have drench coming to our campus. The reasons are obvious as just three batches have been passed out from her so far and unless a strong alumni network is formed it is impossible to get great placements from our campus.
