- Atmosphere of college is extremely positive and studious. Students over here are ambitious and a good competitive environment is created by them.
- Teaching staff is very supportive and very educated.
- Library is a very good place to study and focus.
Dislikes
- Campus life is bit boring here. Everyone is inclined towards academkcs and extra curricular is not given much importance.
- Most of the staff is south indian so it creates a language barrier.
- Core placements are not very good and tbe strength of core branchez is also veru low
Course Curriculum Overview
- Faculties here are extremely supportive and educated. - Teachers always tend to help the students in their academics and cope up with their respective speeds. - Strength of students is comparatively higher in tech branches as compared to core ones. - Almost every teacher is a Phd holder - Odd semester are generally of 5 months in which 2-3 internal exams are held once in every month and external exams tend to last for atleast 15 days followed by practic exams. - internals are quite easy but external exams is a tough nut to crack
Placement Experience
- Students become Eleigible for campus placements from 7th semester. - some top companies including zomato, hp, adobe, samsung etc - Highest package was of 47 lakha from zomato and average package ranges from 10 lakhs - students getting high package genrally have 8.5+ ygpa
Fees and Financial Aid
- Fee structure is quite affordable here. - in first year, fees is approximately 1.39 lakhs followed by 1.19 lakh in the consecutive years. - In all the years, you've to submit the fees all at once. - There is no hike in fees until or unless it's been stated from the university. - scholarship is offered on the basis of ygpa upto 10,000. - Highest package of 2023 was around 47 lakhs and a good bunch of companies visit the campus
Campus Life
- The name of the annual fest is Zealicon and it's conducted around April beginning. - It's a big fest having both tech and non tech events and a dj night. - JSS library is the best thing about the clg. The clg has got a big and well Maintained library which remain functional from 8:30 am to 5 pm in the evening. - all kinds of books are available in the library including novels and curriculum books also. - Classrooms here are airy and spacious some , most of them are non AC. Basement classroms are provided with AC. - some classrooms hve projector facilities as well. - Clg has a lot of socities i. e., dance club, coding society, drama society, entrepreneur society and so on.
Admission
- Admission takes place through two processes - one is management and second is through counselling - for counselling one has to visit aktu website and sit for several rounds in which course is provided as per the percentile of JEE MAINS exam. - cut off for computer science is generally 91%ile. - for admission through management, the candidate has to visit the registrar office where faculties are there to help the students and explain the entire admission process to them.
