Dislikes

Campus is not that good, lacks sports facilities
College follows strict 75 percentage attendance
Fests are not that great here, you have to travel 10 km to go to main city

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is the best thing out here. The course is updated according to industry standards. There are no courses like physics or chemistry or mechanical etc. Students here have to focus on cs courses. The faculty is well qualified for teaching.

Internships Opportunities

Boys here get oncampus intership offers from 5th semester and Girls get oncampus intership offers from 3rd semester under women programs. Many boys apply for off campus internship and also get the offer with great stipends

Placement Experience

Students get placement offers in 7th and 8th sem . Many get ppo in good tech companies. In past years uber, flipkart, amazon,media.net etc have been our prominent recruiters. Placements of the college are improving every year, in the year 2023 the average package was about 30lpa and median of 26lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess at iiit Lucknow is about 2.8 lakhs per annum including hostel and mess fees. Scholarships provided are either through state policies or central (nsp etc). Students can easily get study loan from the banks.

Campus Life

Campus is currently in developing stage , so don't expect campus life like top iits or nits. But basic facilities are provided. Yes there are clubs for cultural and technical activities. Sports facilities are not that good yet but in upcoming days we can expect some major improvements.

Admission

The addmission to Btech courses are through joint entrance examination (jee main) rank. Cutoffs for general male candidate will be approx 9k-15k, that means one has to score above 98.5 percentile in jee main

Honest review of KCC college

Placement Experience:

The placement is very bad.mass recruiters like infosys and TCS come to the college . They offer a very low packages like 3 LPA .They also show very high packages for some students which are fake .You cannot expect a good package here .

Life at VBSPU: A Balanced Mix of Learning, Challenges, and Growth.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (4th year). Few companies visit VBSPU for placements, and most are mass recruiters offering IT support and sales-related roles. Since placement opportunities are limited, only a small percentage of students secure on-campus jobs. Average Package: ~ 3-3.5 LPA Many students rely on off-campus placements through LinkedIn, referral hiring, or applying directly to companies. Many students prepare for government jobs like GATE, SSC, or banking exams. My plans after BTech Freelancing & personal projects to improve skills and build a strong portfolio.

RECM - Underrated but a great future ahead.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to appear for placement from seventh semester. In Civil Engg Dept 40 students enrolled for campus placement and 28 students were offered jobs till the final semester. L&T Infra, Tata Steel, Prism Cement, ACC Cement are some of the prime recruiters. Highest package offered was 7.5 lpa , lowest 4.2 lpa and median was 5.5 lpa. Profiles offered were Project Associate ,BIM Engineer, Site Supervisor, Area Head (Sales). 70% of students got placed in the first batch of this college from civil engg dept. Currently I am serving as Junior Engineer at DFCCIL (Railways).

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements . Their are many companies visted in our college some of them are Flipkart,Amazone,Infosys,icici and many otber companies . The highest package goes above the 20lacks lpa and average package goes around 5.5lacks lpa 75 percentage of are getting placed last year . My plan after getting the degree to placed in any multinational company as a developer.

Consider if you are preparing for any exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is not so active and here you will have to prepare for mostly the off campus placement for high paying packages otherwise the average package is 3LPA which may be not meet your expectations. The highest package from this college is off campus palcement. if you are a hardworker and have proper skills and knowledge you will deifnitely get placed . so my suggestion is that to also enjoy your college life but also be a hardworker and become a job creator.

Best Engineering College in eastern Uttar Pradesh

Placement Experience:

College gives the best placement in eastern Up. Previous year companies like TCS, Infosys, IGL, Vodafone, Airtel, Accenture etc have visited. & Average package was about 12 lac per annum. About 85 % of students of this get placement in multinational & other companies.
