Very good hostel facilities like Wi-Fi quality mess food clean surroundings
Very green environment near hostel and all over in campus
The faculties are also very supportive not all but yes there are some who will support you

Dislikes

75% attendance rule is very very compulsory in this college
Very less varieties in food canteen of our college
Students get very less free time daily to be productive in their life

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose computer science because of my interest The faculty and student ratio is decent The qualification of the almost all faculties are not below phd ! The examination procedure of Chitkara University is quite good the programming languages examination will be held on CBT

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements and internship opportunities after reaching the end of 6th semester Wipro TCS and other mass recruiter often come here The highest package of entire era of Chitkara is 80lakhs And the minimum packages 4 lakh The placement rate is 97% My plan is to get placed in a big MNC

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees Hike since 3 years and the cost to study is very reasonable. 70000 is the per semester fees of academics And 33300 is the hostel fees which is also very reasonable And to my knowledge there is no beneficial scholarship available for students because the fees is already very good

Campus Life

Often the techfest happens in our college like hackathon The availability of books and generals in the library are very very vast There are all classrooms are Air Conditioned Yes that's whats and extra curricular activities on the campus held very frequently and one can improve his extra curricular scales via participating in such activities

Hostel Facilities

All hostel is Wi-Fi enabled There are three hostels of boys and 4 hostels of girls Very much affordable the fee of hostel When can easily pay the online hostel fees via app of uhostel The locality is in remote area

Admission

Well the admission procedure of Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh is quite simple In my case I went to known career counselor who councild and guided me for my betterment of future. He councild me and give advice to be a student of Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh. But one can easily get enrolled in any of courses offered by Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh via online form The eligibility is not that much hard You just need to be pass out with any recognised class 12th board or any diploma equivalent to that within percentage of minimum 60%.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities.
