Likes

We have to visit only once a week and can study other thing

Dislikes

Number of classes are very few can't even complete half of the syllabus
Classes should start more early before the exam nut just a month before
They should teach us something before they ask us to complete our assignment

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I was not eligible for DU and couldn't afford any private college selected IGNOU Students are good in strength but they don't come to college or study centres that often Teaching methods depend from teacher to teacher and only very few can teach very well otherwise all are the same Exams have fixed times Dec and June but passing them is a real challenge the checking is very tough IDK why they don't even provide that many classes complete the syllabus

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 48000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is not the issue but the poor time management and as for the job and Scholarship our teachers told us there is none. They provide some basic courses but they are not from IGNOU itself but from their personal institute

Campus Life

We have to submit our fee every 6 month or every semester which is around 8000 excluding book If we pay for books they never come on time, In 1st sem I purchased the books as well and they arrived when I passed the 3rd Sem so they are pretty slow to deliver classes only occur on sat and Sun just a month before the exam and they don't even complete the syllabus cause number of classes is too low There are no extra or any kind of curricular activities Students don't run anything all the is managed by faculty

Admission

There was no entrance exam, and the application and payment can be done online through the same portal. Reservation was not available, and for the improvement part, the college should assign some tests for some courses like BCA, and other technical courses

Best college for bca in Delhi Ncr for non math students

Placement Experience:

Placements are also very good for a bachlor course my seniors have got package upto 4lpa and many are placed as junior developer in many MNCs . Some are building their own business . overall best college in Delhi Ncr for bca without maths students.

Placement Experience:

We have placement cell in our department and it is mostly active. Though, most of students go for higher studies after BCA but, If you want you can be placed in a good company if You have the skills . The college would help .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because i really like things about electronics, i feel attracted towards computer and stuff from childhood, then after opting computer science in 12th , i know what i want to do and chose this course. Talking about the faculty members, there is more than enough faculty members to handle the students, actually its more like a School where if one teacher is absent then some other teacher take the class. As far as the qualification of teachers is considered, i feel like they know how to teach there partiy subject, and that should be more than enough for students, teachers are nice and supportive towards students which i like the most about them. There are 2 semester in each year of course, in each semester there is one mid term exams and one end term exam, internal practical and external practical exams were akso held in each semester, and difficulty of exams is not so high, actually our teachers says that in IPU the more you write, the more you marks you get.

Remarks:

Can't say, first of all it's distance education and the lifestyle is such that it's ok to have what they have offered us in such a price range. Classes take place on weekends and hence you can hang out with friends outside the premises.

Ignou: Flexibility And Disappointment

I had also applied in DU for B.Sc. (Hons) Statistics but the cutoffs were very high and only a few top colleges offered that course. DU SOL also did not provide B.Sc. courses at that time, so I finally chose IGNOU. The admission process is fully online through the IGNOU website. You need to sign in, upload your Class 10 and 12 marksheets, Aadhaar or other supporting documents, fill personal details, and pay the course fee. For most courses you just need to pass Class 12, but for some courses there is a percentage requirement or specific subjects needed to study in class 12 like in my case maths.
