- Student activity centre is amazing where we perform all our sports activity. It is aplace where we dump our stress.
- Lecture hall complex is beautifully designed
- Hostels are amazing. It is like 5 stars hotel.Washrooms are amazing.
Dislikes
- It is still under construction. Some more times wil be required to develop it's infrastructures.
- It takes exams during the festivals. It even don't gives holiday of more than 2 days in festivals like Diwali.
- It is far from main city Bhubaneswar. It takes to time to go to city area.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is nice. In first year, your subjects will be common. You have to study subject like Physics, Chemistry, Mechanics, Electrical Technology and their lab too. Faculties are good.They are well educated, graduated from highly esteemed universities and very knowledgable. Exams in our college occurs oftenly. Some prof takes class test regularly. Mid sem helds after 2 months from the begining of semester and after four months they take end sem. Basically, our semester ends in 4 months.
Placement Experience
Yes our campus provide placements and it is nice. AVERAGE PACKAGE is around 20lpa which is quite good. From the 7th semester they are eligible for placements. There are many companies which comes to our college for placements like Google,BPCL,HPCL,etc Almost 85-90%of students get placed and rest go for further studies and government job(PSUs)
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is 1.5 lakh per sem. 3 lakhs for a year. If you are SC/ST you only have to pay hostel fees and 100% remission of tution fee. If your annual income is less than 1 lakh then 100% of tution fee will be returned to you. If your annual income is less than 5 lakh than 2/3 of the total tuition fee will be returned to you
Campus Life
Life at IIT is awesome.At IIT BBS most of the building are in construction. There are total of 4 fest in out college. Alma-Cultural Fest Ashvamedha-Sports Fest Wissenaire-Tech Fest E-Summit- Business related fest Our libraries contains almost books of all the topics and it is always available for the students. Whenever students want they can issue the book and take it to their room to study. There are so many societies in our college like D-Groovers - Dance Society Nakshatara-Astronomy Society Clix-Photography society Cinewave-Video editing society
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilites are amazing. I personally likes the hostel. You will get single occupancy room. You will be given one bed, one table and chair, an almirah, LAN connection will be there in every room also wifi will be there in the corridors which give speed of around 30mbps. Meal is average not so good not so bad. Mess charge is 18k per semester. They will serve you non-veg three to four times in a week.
Admission
Admission process was smooth.Counselling service Team of IIT BBS helped us a lot in admission process.They told us everything what to do and how to do. If you appear in any entrance exam the eligibility process is different for different category. For General you should always have to secure good marks then OBC,SC and ST. For the aplication form, application fees and application dates you should check the official website of exam or you will get the notification from the college dunia website.
