Likes

Teachers are very helpful for students, they have lots of experience.
Infrastructure is good, the main building is round shaped which is looked amazing.
Hostels facilities are good,cheaper and provides good food.

Dislikes

You're studying in a private college, there are lots of thing that you're disliking.
Toxic culture between seniors and junior studens,they have to only listen to seniors waht to wear, how you shape your beards.
Environment is not that much good, less numbers of restaurants,doesn't have lots of franchise store village like area

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are good, they are very helpful to students,but Lab. Teachers some time rude, student ratio is about 720 students in technical courses and around 500 students in core branches, most of the teachers are PhD qualified well experienced, In a semester 2 class test will be there and one whole semester exam.

Placement Experience

From starting of 7th semester students are allowed to participate for placements, placements records are good but on papers only, it sector jobs are not that good as core branch jobs, if you're doing chemical engineering you will definitely getting a job but if you're from technical field you have to compete with all others. Even TCS doesn't come for on campus placements.this year half placements are completed but only 80 students placed. Average package is around 4 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is high as compared to the quality of the college,70k per semesters total around 6.30 lakhs. Opportunities are as lots of clubs are there for recruiting students like Google development student club, scholarships for west bengal domiciled students.

Campus Life

Campus is good but not for 1st year students, the environment is very toxic for the 1st year students they are not even allowed to go alone teachers suggest to go out with group, most of the reviews are paid, when will you reach the college it will like expectations vs reality like factor, annual fest are good many celebrities have come but as I mentioned earlier not good for 1st year students,you will feel like a hell if you are 1st year student.

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 hostels for 1st year students, 2 hostels are inside the campus and 1 outside the campus which is best among all because in campus hostels for seniors are there, anytime they will call you and giving you there assignments and all, if you're coming to HIT go for only ranichak boys hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

It was good but takes lots of time,students are standing in line for hours, all the applications you will find at wbjee portal. Take all form and documents together for smooth process, improvement that I want to see by removing that standing line process it makes tierd to students.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Okay college and decent placement

I choose this college due to affordable fees and the hostel facility near. But I think my desicion was wrong as it is not good engineering college as compared to the other colleges from noida ,ghaziabad and rest cities of India .This is because of followiong parameters that are good in those colleges.1.NO Regular cultural and technical fest. 2.Not any extra co cirricular activities such as dandiya, festive special programs and the main freshers part. 3. There is no farewell given to final year students by the college. 4. No convacation held. 3. No hightech infrastructure and AC classrooms.
