Likes

Faculty is kind (mostly), my faculty has been kind but I heard some storied of rude faculty from other batches.
Attendance is not given a priority, most if not all professors increase it to whatever you want

Dislikes

Too many students makes eating in mess a impossible, queues are just too long.

Course Curriculum Overview

Chose this course because I am interested in coding and have been coding since 8th grade. Student faculty ratio is great, there are many students but it is matched by a great number of faculty too. But since there is so much faculty there are some professors who have no interest in teaching and only read the presentation provided by the college for their course and some are very rude. The term exams according to me were held too soon and maybe it's because of that they were diffocult for me.

Internships Opportunities

I am not yet in my third year but from what I have heard and what I have seen on the university pages students do get placed in top companies with a good stipend of around 1lpm. I can't say about the projects needed.

Placement Experience

I am just a first year ao cannot be sure but placements are listed on the site. The highest placement off campus was 1.2cr P.a and the highest on campus was 52lpa . Almost all students get placed in placements. I plan on applying off campus for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is clearly given and all the components are also listed. Scholarship is given on multiple accounts, I received it for scoring >90 in my board exam. Although the hostels are quite expensive.

Campus Life

There are PLENTY of fests and celebration and in my 3 months of college I have had 3 fests which I attened and many which I missed. Library is really well built and organized with many books to read from. Classrooms is one of the areas which is lacking as sometimes the mic won't work, sometimes the hdmi won't connect properly and scanning for biometric with 200 students per hall is a big hassle. There are too many to name social groups and clubs and sports is treated highly on the campus.

Admission

They asked for the 10th and 12th information online, identification. Then direct admission was offered with a scholarship. The form was available and submitted online. All the info related to admission is on the website.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Likes

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Good college for Degrees

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

I liked the professor of college their teaching style and unique approaches
I like the events they keep on launching in college
I like the placement ratio in college and their seriousness to get everyone placed

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is very less as compared to other colleges
The environment of college is not too good it's okay okay
The infrastructure is not well maintained

The curriculum designed is new latest like we study subjects such as emerging technology digital electronics computer science c , english for job the teacher teaches us using projector visualisation the first mid sem happens after 1 month or opening of college difficulty level is very easy

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable faculty members with helpful mentoring
Friendly campus environment and good participation in events.

More industry workshop and seminars can be held to increase exposure.
Encouraging more internship and training opportunities for students.
Expanding campus activities and facilities for overall development

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

Likes

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

I would like to inform uh that electronic and communication is a very good trade to choose. So many carreer opportunities if you will go in in industrial area, or in government sector. Make some connections with ur seniors others it is tough to enter in industry for freshers.

Bennett University worth or not ???

Other colleges I applied for were -- VIT Velore, SRM University, Manipal University and sat for counseling too. The reason I didn't take admission in these colleges was mostly because of the distance from my home. I wanted a good college near my hometown and Bennett was the perfect candidate. It was close to my home city, provided the course I wanted to take and had a decent average package. The curriculum, fests, infrastructure and in general living conditions here at Bennett University are better than those at other colleges. Life at Bennett University

The admission here is simple and the reponse of the admission committie and the IT department here is excellent, This college was not on my list to begin with but i ended up choosing this college because of the facilities provided here and also if your are truly wiling to do good then this college will help you , There is not much of a eligibility criteria you must atleast get 60 percentage in board to make it here, For the other college there werent much facilities and i just didnt worked much hard to find colleges but i dont regret my decision alot.
