I thoroughly enjoyed my college life, largely owing to the friends i had made in my college life.
Our college boasts an exceptionally talented and dedicated faculty whose passion for teaching goes beyond the ordinary.
Embarking on the journey of an Information Technology (IT) course has been an enlightening and invigorating experience.

Dislikes

The dilapidated buildings, cracked walls, and outdated facilities create an environment that mirrors neglect. Some old buildings has worst classrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I was interested in Computer field, I wanted to choose Computer engineering but due to high merit, I was not able to get the admission and went with Information Technology as the course is very similar to Computer Engineering. Faculty in BVM are very talented but most of the professors are newbie in IT faculty. The old legacy of BVM can be found in its government branches. In a class, We are about 75 students including D2D students. Our Faculty are highly qualified and almost all professors have done thier PhDs from reputed college. There are two midsems exam in a semester and once we get our average score

Placement Experience

From 6th semester, Students are eligible for campus placements. There are various companies visiting our campus for recruitment. Around 100+ companies are recruiting from our college, companies including TCS,L&T,ABB,Torrent Power,etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for students admitted in 2022 batch has to pay Rs.131000/year. There are various scholarships running in the institution. I do avail the MYSY scholarship as it provides Rs.50000 per year to us. As i still Study, so no ideas about stipend.

Campus Life

Our College organizes lots of events as it do receives high number of fundings from its alumnis. The mega annual fest "Udaan" is organized for 3-4 Days. Our library is for 2 floors and it does contains almost every essential books to study. Our new classrooms are occupied by Hi-Tech smartboards and computer. There's Sports day every year organized in our college. Also numerous groups are being run in the college like GDSC,MLSC,IEEE,etc.

Admission

There was no entrance exam as the admission was based on the merit of GUJCET/JEE marks. We can obtain application form, fees and dates from B block of College. I have not received any reservation benefits.

Placement Experience:

In our college, 100% students get placed every year. After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Some students want to get into higher studies and some want to get off-campus placements. Many companies like google, motorola,crest comes to take interviews. My plan is to get into higher studies abroad after getting degree.

Placement of my college is decent enough as per NITs. From 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Micron, GE Healthcare, Visa, MasterCard and more visited and offer 6 to 7 candidates depending on requirement. Highest package is 57 LPA in CSE branch and 35 LPA in ECE branch. In CSE Placement percentage is 94% and in ECE it is 84%. I will go for College placements and will give government exams and GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester,the students are eligible for the placement cells.As we all know that first step for the placement is The Aptitude test and later on the interview and technical skills. Companies like TCS,Micron,TCS Ninja,Juspay,Samsung, Microsoft and many more. The highest placement from the college is 31LPA and the average package of the college is 3LPA to 4LPA. The students placed every year around 60-65 %.

Placement Experience:

The placement in by branch are good enough in last year 2024 a student got package of nearly 42 lakh per year from computer branch. The average package in computer branch is nearly 10 to 12 LPA . Different companies visits our college to give placement to the students. The major companies ask about the students who have 8 + CGPA . Students become eligible from the 7th semester itself for campus placements. The collge gives perfect data of the student who are placed in different different companies.in year 2023 88% of the students were succcessufully placed in companies.Including all branches average package was of 7 LPA but for computer science students the average package was 10 to 12 LPA.In petrochemical branches the highest package was 24 LPA . and average package was nearly about 6.5LPA.The IT companies such as Google , Microsoft, Reliance , TATA visiits the college to give placement to the students of computer science.The total of 550 +students got the offer from various companies from all branches of btech and nearly 175 companies visited to the campus of the collegeAfter i get the degree the college pdeu i wil do the job for 2 to 3 years in some good companies after that my plan is to do startup means i want to start my buissness such as making an app , etc.. In PDEU the number of students getting placed are good enough even students getting good offcampus packages than oncampus becaus the student become capable of doing work or finding good work. There are some of the students not getting the jobs on campus they try offcampus and thy get the job.

Great experience in College Life

Placement Experience:

The college do have placements offers with many companies in the world and even the most popular companies like google, Facebook, And many more. Many students don't get the opportunity as it only offers to those students who are good in there own field. Normally students become eligible for campus placements From 6th semester. They get chance for 3 semester i.e. 6th,7th,&8th semester. The highest offer a student got here was 2cr per anumn.

IIT Gandhinagar from the eyes of a First Year

Placement Experience:

Placements this year have become better. 4th Years are sitting for Placements right now. Top companies include Infosys, Oracle, De Shaw, Nvidia, etc. All Data is available in the Placement Report which is available on the IIT Gandhinagar Website. Till May 4, 2024 69 % Students have been placed. I plan to go for a masters after my degree.
