campus is big, this is the thing i like about vit
teachers are good and supportive and you can easily seek help from them
security is taken care of. your kid is secure inside the campus

Dislikes

so many restrictions are there. and there are guard at every corner of college
some faculties are rude and don't like to help students
canteen is very expensive and have very limited options

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CSE specialisation in CSE AI and ML. i have my personal interest in AI and ML thats why i took this course. All techers here are P.HD qualified. faculty:student ration is quite good. there are good number of techers. exams are 2-3 times a year depending on number of semesters you have in a year.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

fees is 2 lakh per year. this is tution fee. apart from tution fee you have to pay hostel and mess fee which is around 1.2-1.3 lakh per year. there is no scholarship for admission in VIT. and one more important thins there is category system in vit. if u get lower rank but still you want to take admission you have to pay in higher category and fees increses in higher category

Campus Life

annual dest is ADVITYA which happens mostly in feburary, campus life is average there are so many restrictions in campus classrooms are normal, no ac only fans but every classroom is equipped with projector system sport facilities are not good in this college as it is developing i guess they will come slowly with developement

Admission

yes there is complete admission process. there is this exam VITEEE you have to appear for this exam and after 2-3 days maybe you will get result through your mail id. there you'll get your rank and then if you are willing to take admission you have to appear for online councelling. in councelling you have to choose your preference of course you want to pursue and in which branch of VIT respectively. After 5-6 days councelling results will come and you will get to know wheater you got selected or not. there is no reservation benifits in whole process. it is all same for all categories you must appearing in 12th class to appear for this exam

start or 7 th sem student get eligible for placement. tcs, acccenture , wipro , capgemini , cognizant , epam and many more. highest package was 1.12 cr and the average package are 4 lpa. aproxx 70 to 75 percent student are geeting placed in every year. my plans to get a job .

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
