Not What I wanted but what I have

I chose the particular course as I wanted to pursue in this field. Vit bhopal is the only private university in India having 100 % doctoral faculty. Ratio of student to faculty is very good compared to other universities. Some of the faculties have done their masters from NITs or state government universities but their are very few who did their masters from IITs. Teaching method comes to personal choices. Term exams are relatively very easy to pass.

You are divided into different slots depending on your CGPA. For example slot 1 is having a cgpa above 9. Then their are some rounds to clear to get a chance to beg a pre placement offer. You have to have good connections with the faculties to get better oppertunities. Popular companies like Microsoft also give PPO but they are only available in 1st slot.

The college boasts a commendable placement record, with a significant percentage of graduates securing job offers through campus placements. Renowned companies across various industries actively participate in recruitment drives, reflecting the institution's commitment to preparing students for the workforce. Highest package offered was 60 lakhs and average is around 8 lakhs.

Only the academic fee is 2 lakhs per year for category 1 students. Student studying in category 2,3, have 3,4 lakhs per year as their academic fee respectively. Their isn't any scholarship available by the college.

The sports event is conducted when the freshers batch arrives and it is very great. All sports like basketball, football, cricket, etc except athletics but the outdoor sports has a very poor ground here. The annual fest here is called advitya and takes place around February, different food outlets and shops from bhopal place their shops in here and it's a 8-10 day long fest which includes all sorts of technical and cultural fest.

Hostel facilities are top class but the wifi is very very poor provider how much we have paid for the hostel. The food is very good, cleanliness and all is top notch. They should fix the wifi. non veg is also provided very frequently in the mess. The hostels are very expensive though that is why getting a pg sounds more productive as it is half the fee of hostel.

VIT has its own entrance exam every year called VITEEE. One can register directly from VIT website and the application fees is around 1200rs. The exam consists of Physics, chemistry, maths and english in an objective questionnaire. Once the exam's result are out, you are given a slot as per your ranking for counselling and then you just have to fill your priority on the day of counselling.
