Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum of DSEU is good . according to my rank I got mechatronics in DSEU. Academically college is good and faculty are too good and supportive. Faculty understand felling of students and they upskill their students. Ratio of faculty to students ration is not so good All the faculty members are good and their knowledge are up to the mark .not knowledge of next level but good you can say that not extraordinary. Teaching methods of vary from faculty to faculty. Some faculty explain hard topics in very easy way and some faculty cannot explain. It also Depends on students understanding power . In 1 semester there are two term examination first one is mid term. And second one is end term. It's very easy to score very good mark in semester exam. Even before 3-4 day of your exam you start.you got decent CGPA.and in end term before 10 day's of exam you start study you got decent CGPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

In total four years of BTech you have to pay total around 6.5 lakhs. In first year you have to pay 1.5 lakh rupees.and in 2nd year you have to pay 1.65 lakh rupees. and in 3rd year you have. To pay 1.81 lakh rupees and in final year you have to pay approx 2 lakh rupees. according to college fee is high it should be 1 lakh. It is difficult to afford as a middle class family.but it not too high like IIID. For undergraduate B tech students there is 2 scholarship which I know. The first one is Merit-Cum-mean Scholarship which is provided by Delhi government. And second one is Mahindra all India Talent scholarship(MAITS) provided by Mahindra education trust. There is no directly stipend provide by government. Rare Students got internship opportunity. Stripped upto 30k-80k approx

Campus Life

2

Campus is not good in DSEU. after few months you may got bore to college. And you don't want to go to college after few times . Social life is also not good because students fight each other In classes. And they closed door and fight each other. Some time(rare) students get serious injury. There is no annual fest held in DSEU currently. For future it might be started I can't say on this.there is rare tech fest held in DSEU but it is held in DSEU. Library is average all book are not available but important books for exam are available. There is also newspaper facility available in library. Classroom are not very well structured.but it is good. Benches are old model .there is no sports facilities are available. But some students do extracurricular activities in DSEU garden

Admission

Admission process is simple . Firstly we have to fill jee mains enternace exam form .and exam is conducted by NTA .and fee of admission form is about 1500 . Registration process starts in December and and there is two sessions of jee examination the. First one is held in January-february and second one is held in March-April. Application form is available on jeemain.nta.ac.in and further notice will be there .and after exam we got rank according to our performance.the further process of admission will take place.I belong to OBC category I availed OBC reservation in admission. There are many benifit in OBC.for general OBC students got cse in 237000(general rank).and got mechatronics in 311000(general rank).

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
