Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it has a very vast scope in the field of engineering and also it has very high-paying jobs. The faculty-to-student ratio is also very good around 1 faculty per 50 students. all faculties are Ph.D. doctorates. Exams are twice in a sem midterm and termend passing in these exams is easy if you study consistently and listen to your faculty, faculty notes are enough to score well.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Internships Opportunities

unstop,setadel, and other companies like Octanet also take students as an intern i have done an internship at Octa net, also the projects are based on the web and apps. you also need some fundamental knowledge of dsa and a little bit of AI and machine learning.

Placement Experience

In the seventh semester students are eligible to sit for placement lot of companies visit the campus like Google microsoft blackrock meta zomato etc. highest package is 60 lpa. all students who get placed are 100 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are the state topper then the student gets free admission to the college also if you score well in viteee exam then the college will give a hike in admission fees eg. if rank below 100 then 80% off on admission fees.

Campus Life

the annual fest name is "Advitya" it is the vit Bhopal's special tech and cultural fest it gores around 3 to four days, books are available in very good quantity in the library you also get a dedicated place to sit and read the books, classes has ac rooms with projectors in all rooms, sports is also very nice, many types of clubs are also there to take part in.

Admission

Eligibility for courses depends on the rank of the VITEEE exam. lower is the rank better the probability of getting the best branch choice, no there is no reservation for the students but only the state toppers who score top in MP the get additional benefits on admission fees.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
