Thats my review of 1 year in SRM UNIVERSITY

As my parents are engineers so i chose btech and the world is going towards online so i chose computer science. And my one neighbor also got good placement and a alumini of the college so o chose this college and course. Their are too many faculty no scarcity on that but their are more under traing professor. The are less experienced but they try their best for giving lectures. Their teaching is also good it varies from subs as well as topics and proffesors. But the faculty try their best accept some. Exams are normally on time but some time dye to feasts and functions it delay but not always.

Placement depends upon the course one has taken. Placements for core branches like (cs, mechanical, ese, mettlurgy) are more in co parenting to chemical, civil etc. Placements of high values are generally for these branches only as big companies come for the cources like google, htc, hcl, Microsoft, dell etc. But the placements seats are very less in compare to government companies. Many students chose out campussing and get jobs sometime above 50 lakha per annum. Any branch student can sits in all companies placements but yes their are papers of test of all companies indivisully after quallifing that. Placements are good but the average package is still less it's 400000 generally from past 5-6 yrs but yes packages like 2cr+ has also been noted in the campus but less in no like 5-6 people and 20lakhs + also some year

Fees in private college is generally high so srm has also high fee and approx it take 300000 a year excluding hostel facility it's additional 90000-100000.which generally rise every year by 8000 to 10000. Also give a below average food with all vegetarian diet. If a student face financial crisis after admission and is getting good marks in every semester can get scholarship but it's chances is low as it's performance must be extraordinary. At the time of admission on the basis of 12 marks scholarship is given upto 40-50 percent but it's less likely after admission as it is a private college and opened for making money. Stipend jobs varies from branch to branch and it's not even getting on a year it comes occasionally if the college get partnership with the company. But companies hires undergraduate s of btech (cs),Bca , polytechnic cources

College life is totally amazing as their are many fests, functions , tournament, games sports always taking place in the college with opportunity to organise and take part in it so the time passes well. Many celebrities came quaterly in fests and college atmosphere is also very well. Fest famous are mood indigo, technolite etc.. There is a big libaray which easily provide books and normally always have needed books by the students if any books are not there we can apply for the book which is mostly available within 7-8 days max. Their are many Instagram account of the collleges which the students run, many clubs of different activities like dance club, coding club, Interprenure club, etc which let the student to manage pressure with fun. Their is no such website as it is not allowed by the college administration and authority

The mess food is totally wrost. It always lead to health problems. It's not in all messes as there are 3-4 mess but mine is wrost. It's tottaly upon your luck and that time mess operator what food you will get. It's both non veg and veg we have to give preferece while admission what we have to choose. Noramly it's 3 days non veg 2 days chicken and one days egg and rest veg meals. The charges of nonveg is also 5000-8000 more the the veg course. Meal quality is okk but the taste is wrost. As it's not only my review it's off all mess students. That's why after 1-2 yrs students generally move to rebted flats . Hostel seats are limited so it's Complasiory to give name while admission. It's register first and get first policy. Every year the scarcity happens while admission of bachelor's and masters cources. Most the beople live in ludhiyana colony there rooms are cheaper and affordable rates

Before 12 board result I have taken provisional admission in srm in other words booking a seat in it but it is also not sure as if you get less then cutoff your money as well as seat is also gine. As I get good marks and above cutoff my seat was booked and asli some less money then after result students. There is reservation but it likely negligible as it is private university so the all game is of money. The people when I called while online process as my home is in other state. The staffs always says for coming offline in every process
