Likes

Good placement scenario. And environment
Academic building is well ventilated and hostels are also livable
A very good male to female ratio . With respect to other engineering colleges

Dislikes

Strict rules and hostel staff is not well mannered.
Local students are very troublesome . And You are allowed to smoke
Too many admissions. And not enough accommodation

Course Curriculum Overview

It's a good course that's why I chose it , there is 100% doctoral faculty and they teach well , the time table is very hectic there are exams every 2 months , it is not that hard to pass the exams if you just study

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are companies visiting from 6th semester for internshio opportunities with stipend , JP Morgan , Becton Dickinson, Microsoft, Amazon , and they take some students based on their requirements and skills

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester and there are companies visiting with job opportunities some students gets dream offers and some get super dream offers . Highest package 60 lakhs and lowest is around 2-3 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is an issue with this college . But there are some scholarships in college where they compensate on the fees on the basis of boards score and financial background. They compensate 25,50,75and 100 % on the tuition fees .

Campus Life

There is one annual fest ADVITYA , it is good , life is not that good at campus , not much freedom for students, there is a strict curfew , and very strict Public display of affection guidelines.There are plenty intra College sports activities not many opportunities to okay outside the campus.

Hostel Facilities

Hotel is good . It is clean and food is also eatable . But there are very strict guidelines in night time . You have to get back in your respective hostel before 9 :00 PM . And can only go out after 6:00 AM

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Admission

You need more than 65% in class 12th exams , then you can apply for VITEEE exam through the VIT website. There are no reservation benefits. I don't want any improvement in admission process. But they charge very much for counseling fees .

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
