Honestly saying I was trying for core branches like civil, mechanical, electronics and electrical. Finally I took admission in the Electrical engineering. I wanted to opt electrical engineering because I wanted to give government exams like IES. The faculty: student ratio is 80:1. Most of the faculty is PhD. The teaching method of faculty is old school more on bookish side then the practical application. It is an autonomous institution so it design its own schedule as per its need. There are atleast two class test per semester and it can be increased as per need.

Only final year students are eligible for placement drives. On campus highest package is 16LPA by a electrical student (2024 batch) and three mechanical students. L&T is mass recruitor for the core students. On average 60 percent students get placed on campus. Some students opts for higher studies and go for GATE and CAT exams.

Tuition fee hikes are controlled by the AKTU itself. Which is very nominal and even zero percent most of the time. I did not see any fee hike during my course period. But mess fee is controlled by the college itself. It is hike every year by at least 10 percent. Few seat are also alloted to financial wavier. You can also take benefits of scholarship provided by the Uttar Pradesh government.

Annual sports fest "PACE" is organized annually. Technical fest "Innovanza" is also organized annually. These both are very fun events and they both last for atleast 3 days. There is central and departmental library the availability of books are good. You can get all course related books there. All the classroom and hostels are wifi enabled.

For 1st and second year male students a common room for 2 students are provided. From third year you get a seperate room. Even in second year you can get a single room if you are good in acedemics. There is special hostel for second year students which has hundred rooms espically for bright students.All hostels are wifi enabled. Meals are good you can surrive on it for 4 years so don't worry. Registration for hostels are available at to time for admission itself.

I took admission through UPSEE examination which took place in august. There was no negative marking. The current situation for admission is through JEE mains examination. After appearing for JEE mains exam you have to wait for the AKTU website portal for information regarding admission. Then you fill the aktu admission form with your college and branch priority. If your JEE rank is low then you can opt for the spot counselling round. One improvement I want to see in the admission process of AKTU colleges is start again the UPSEE exam for the admission.
